JANCD-GMM24

JANCD-GMM24 is a large-capacity memory/motion expansion board for the ABB YASNAC 2000G/3000G CNC system. Its original part number is DF700062. It is used for supporting machine tools such as Seiko Seiki and needs to be used in conjunction with the GMM11/GMM12 main CPU board.

Description

Basic Specification

Model: JANCD-GMM24 (DF700062)

Type: Large-capacity memory expansion board / Motion control auxiliary board

Compatibility: YASNAC 2000G, 3000G (machines from Sengen Machinery, etc.)

Functions: Ultra-large program storage, multi-axis interpolation acceleration, advanced processing data management

Hardware Specifications

Form: Full-length industrial standard board card, gold finger slots, backplane DC5V power supply

Memory: Larger capacity DRAM/Flash than GMM22, supports ultra-long processing programs and complex macro programs Interface:

System bus: High-speed connection with the GMM11/GMM12 main CPU board

High-speed I/O expansion port: Compatible with high-precision I/O units

Backup battery holder: Keeps all parameters and programs intact in case of power failure

Indicators: PWR (Power), RUN (Operation), ALM (Alarm) Core function

The expansion program is stored in an ultra-large capacity, supporting mold and other large-scale mold programs.

It shares the main CPU's computing load, enhancing the speed and accuracy of multi-axis linkage interpolation.

It executes complex PLC logic and macro program operations at high speed.

It completely saves machine tool parameters, tool compensation, workpiece coordinate systems, and macro variables.

It supports advanced functions such as high-precision surface processing, five-axis linkage, and high-speed cutting.

Environment and Installation

Operating temperature: 0 - 55℃; Storage: -25 - +85℃

Humidity: 30% - 95% RH (no condensation)

Installation: Vertical slot of the control cabinet, adjacent to the main CPU board, with reliable grounding

Comparison with the same series

GMM11: Old main CPU board (full length)

GMM12: New main CPU board (half length, with better performance)

GMM22: Standard expansion memory board (medium capacity)

GMM24: High-end large-capacity expansion board (maximum capacity, optimal performance)

Common Faults

Program cannot be saved: Backup battery failure, Flash damage

Processing complex curved surfaces is sluggish: GMM24 has abnormal communication with the main CPU, insufficient memory

System alarm: Oxidation of gold fingers, poor contact of the slot, aging of the board card
