JANCD-FC610 Brand: Yaskawa / Yasnac Model: JANCD-FC610 Part No: DF9201268-B0 Revision: Rev.B Type: Spindle & Servo Motion Expansion Board Weight: Approx 0.45kg

Description

1. General Description

JANCD-FC610 is a dedicated motion expansion board for YASNAC I80 CNC system. It upgrades control performance of spindle and servo axes, designed for 5/6-axis machine tools and complex turn-mill centers.
It cannot work independently, must be matched with FC500 PLC core board and FC250/FC251 CPU board.

2. Basic Specifications

  • Applicable System: YASNAC I80 / I80M

  • Mount Backplane: JANCD-FC001, 1 full slot

  • Board Dimension: 267 × 140mm

  • Power Supply: DC 24V ±10%, rated 0.7A

  • Operating Temperature: 0°C ~ +45°C

  • Storage Temperature: -20°C ~ +60°C

3. Main Functions

Spindle Control Enhancement

  • Supports 2 independent spindle channels

  • Spindle speed response time ≤2ms

  • Positioning accuracy up to ±0.001°

  • Compatible with αi, βi series spindle amplifiers

Servo Axis Expansion

  • Adds 2 extra servo axes, max system axes reach 8

  • Servo loop update frequency 1kHz

  • Dual motor synchronous driving supported for gantry structure

High Speed Data Communication

  • CN61 dedicated bus interface connecting FC500

  • Data transmission speed: 8Mbps

  • Real-time status monitoring, alarm response ≤1ms

  • Compatible with FC510 memory board and FC520 communication board

4. Compatibility & Configuration

Mandatory Matching Boards

  • CPU Board: JANCD-FC250 / FC251

  • PLC Core Board: JANCD-FC500

  • Optional Expansion: FC510, FC520

  • Backplane: JANCD-FC001

Typical System Layout

  • 5-axis turn-mill machine: FC250 + FC500 + FC610 + FC430

  • 6-axis machining center: FC251 + FC500 + FC510 + FC520 + FC610 + FC440

Usage Limitation

  • Maximum 1 piece per I80 system

  • Occupies one full slot, cannot share slot with other motion expansion boards

5. Common Faults & Alarms

  • A.610 Bus error: Loose CN61 connection, communication failure, bus chip damage

  • Abnormal spindle positioning: Encoder signal loss, counter module malfunction

  • Excessive servo synchronization error: Parameter mismatch, servo loop overload

  • No LED indication: Power loss, internal fuse blown, poor backplane contact

6. Application Scope

  • 5/6-axis complex turn-mill centers with dual spindle and B/C axis

  • Multi-spindle automatic lathes

  • Gantry machining centers with dual motor synchronization

  • Performance upgrade for legacy I80 CNC equipment
