Assembly Backplate: JANCD-FC001 (standard backplate for I80, single slot)
Board Size: Full-length board (approximately 267×140mm, same as FC310)
Weight: Approximately 1.6 kg
Power Supply: DC 24V ±10%, approximately 1.2A
Version: FC410 (Rev.A02 is the final version)
II. Core Specifications (I/O Points: 64IN/64OUT)
1. Input (IN): 64 points
Voltage: DC 24V, NPN/PNP compatible (sink/source optional)
Purpose: Limit switches, proximity switches, buttons, emergency stop, tools, fixtures, tray signals, etc.
Response Time: ≤1ms, high-speed signal acquisition
2. Output (OUT): 64 points (transistors)
Voltage: DC 24V, maximum load 0.5A / point
Purpose: Electromagnetic valves, relays, indicator lights, alarm lights, cylinders, motor start signals, etc.
Protection: Each point has self-recovery fuse, overload / short-circuit protection
3. Interfaces
CN41: I/O terminal block (64IN/64OUT, screw connection, divided into upper and lower rows)
CN20: System parallel bus (connected to the backplate, communicates with FC250/FC251)
LED: Power, bus, input/output status lights, fault rapid diagnosis
III. FC410 vs FC400 (Expansion Board vs Standard Board) Table
Comparison item FC410 (Extended I/O Board) FC400 (Standard I/O Board)
I/O points 64IN / 64OUT 32IN / 32OUT
Board size Full-length board (267mm) Semi-length board (235mm)
I/O density High, suitable for complex equipment Medium, suitable for standard machine tools
Combination limit Up to 2 FC410 boards Up to 2 FC400 boards
Typical pairing FC251 (High-end Controller) + FC410 FC250 (Standard Controller) + FC400
Application scenarios Large machining centers, turning-milling combination, automated lines Ordinary lathes, small machining centers
IV. Compatibility and Pairing (Required Combinations)
✅ Basic expansion configuration (most commonly used)
Controller board: JANCD-FC251 (High-end, supports more I/O)
I/O board: FC400 + FC410 (Total 96IN/96OUT, meets large equipment requirements)
Feed / Spindle board: FC300B (3-axis feed), FC310 (spindle)
Backboard: JANCD-FC001
✅ Full high-end configuration
Main controller: FC251
I/O: 2 FC410 boards (128IN/128OUT, large point count)
Feed: FC260 (8-axis)
Spindle: 2 FC310 boards (dual spindles)
✅ Key limitations
Cannot be used alone: Must rely on FC250/FC251 for power supply and communication
Slot occupation: Full-length board, occupies 1 backboard slot (same as FC310)
System limit: I80 can support up to 2 I/O boards (FC400/FC410 combination)
V. Common Faults
A. 410 bus error: CN20 backboard contact failure, bus chip failure
No input signal: CN41 wiring loose, 24V power supply abnormal, input point burned out
Output does not act: Output point overload burned out, load short circuit, wiring error
All LEDs off: Backboard 24V power supply missing, internal fuse blown
Partial points no response: Terminal block oxidation, pin deformation, internal circuit break
VI. Application scenarios
Large I80 machining center: 4-axis / 5-axis linkage, requires a large number of fixture, tray, and tool signals
Turning-milling combination machine: Dual spindles + multiple station tool tower, I/O requirements are dense
Automated production line: Machine + loading-unloading mechanism, conveyor belt, inspection equipment linkage
Renovation of old machines: Replace aging I/O boards, expand point count to adapt to new functions
Special machine tools: Multi-station drilling and tapping machine, combined machine tools, non-standard automation equipment
