JANCD-FC260
Description
I. Basic Information
Material Number: JANCD-FC260-1 (Standard Submodel)
Compatible System: YASNAC I80 / I80M (Must be paired with FC250/FC251)
Assembly Backplate: JANCD-FC001 (Standard Backplate for I80, single slot)
Board Card Size: 267 × 152 mm (General size for I80)
Weight: Approximately 0.30 kg
Power Supply: DC 5V ±5%, approximately 1.5 A (Power Consumption ≈ 7.5W)
Operating Temperature: 0°C ~ +45°C
Version: FC260-1 (The only mass production version)
II. Core Functions (Multi-axis Servo Expansion)
1. Axis Expansion Capability (Core)
Expansion of 8-axis servo (Mechatrolink-II bus)
Total Axis Array:
FC250 (8 axes) + FC260 (8 axes) = 16 axes
FC251 (12 axes) + FC260 (8 axes) = 20 axes
Two FC260s can be expanded to 24 axes (The upper limit of the I80 system)
Servo Response Cycle: 125μs (Matched with FC250) / 62.5μs (Matched with FC251)
2. Interface Configuration (Bus Transceiver)
CN1–CN8: 8-axis servo outputs (Mechatrolink-II, blue D-Sub interface)
CN20: System bus (connects to the backplate, communicates with FC250/FC251)
CN21: Expansion bus cascading port (can connect to a second FC260)
LED Status Lights: 8-axis status + power + bus alarm, intuitive diagnosis
3. Communication and Synchronization
Bus Bandwidth: 100Mbps (Standard) / 150Mbps (paired with FC251)
Multi-axis Synchronization Precision: ±2μs (Ensures linkage accuracy)
Supported Protocols: Mechatrolink-II (Special servo bus), does not support third-party protocols
4. System Monitoring and Diagnosis
Real-time Monitoring: 8-axis servo current, position deviation, temperature, communication status
Fault Isolation: A single-axis fault does not affect the operation of other axes
Alarm Codes: Unified with the I80 system, can be directly displayed on the panel
III. Compatibility and Pairing
✅ Required Combination (Multi-axis System)
Main Control Board: JANCD-FC250 (Standard) / FC251 (High-end)
Expansion Board: JANCD-FC260-1 (1 board = +8 axes, 2 boards = +16 axes)
PLC Board: JANCD-FC210 / FC211
Backplate: JANCD-FC001
✅ Replacement and Restrictions
Complete Replacement of FC240/FC242: FC260 is a dedicated servo expansion board, more stable than FC24x
Cannot be Used Independently: Must rely on the FC250/FC251 main control board
Incompatible with Old Systems: Only I80/I80M, cannot be used for I60/C70
Cascading Upper Limit: Up to 2 FC260s, total axes ≤ 24 axes
IV. Common Fault Phenomena
Axis Servo Alarm "Bus Error" → Corresponding CN interface damage or bus cable failure
No Response from Extended Axes → FC260 communication failure with the main control board (CN20 contact failure)
Jitter during Multi-axis Linkage → Insufficient bus bandwidth or drift in synchronization precision
Power Light Does Not Light → Backplate power supply abnormal or FC260 power module damaged
