JANCD-FC1021
Description
1. Overview
JANCD-1021 is a universal high-resolution I/O board for the older YASNAC CNC system (L80/M80/I80) of Yaskawa. It is responsible for collecting input/output signals from the machine tool and driving it, connecting the CNC and the machine tool's high-voltage components, sensors, solenoid valves, and other peripheral devices. It is the core board for system I/O expansion.
2. Specifications and Parameters
Model: JANCD-1021 (without FC prefix, commonly mistakenly written as FC1021)
Manufacturer: Yaskawa Electric (Yaskawa Motor)
Version: Rev A0 (DF920024-A0)
I/O Points: 112 input / 68 output (DC24V)
Input Type: NPN/PNP compatible, with optical isolation
Output Type: Transistor output (maximum 0.5A / point), with optical isolation
Power Supply: DC24V ±10%, approximately 300mA
Operating Temperature: 0°C ~ +55°C
Size: Approximately 330mm × 220mm
Weight: Approximately 1.2kg
Installation: Standard slot (compatible with JANCD-FC006 backplane)
3. Core Functions
Signal Acquisition: 112 input receives limit, origin, emergency stop, sensor, etc. switch signals from the machine tool
Signal Driving: 68 output controls relays, contactors, solenoid valves, indicator lights, etc. actuators
Optical Isolation: Full point isolation, resistant to industrial interference, protecting the CNC system
High-speed Response: I/O refresh cycle < 1ms, suitable for high-speed processing scenarios
System Expansion: Can be cascaded multiple boards, expanding the I/O capacity of the entire machine
Status Diagnosis: Onboard LED indicator lights, real-time display of I/O point connection status, facilitating troubleshooting
4. Compatibility
Backplane Compatibility: JANCD-FC006 (universal backplane for I80/L80/M80)
CNC Compatibility: YASNAC L80, M80, I80, I80M
Associated Boards:
JANCD-FC008: Axis Control Board
JANCD-FC100B/C: HIF Communication Board
JANCD-1022: Expansion I/O Board
5. Common Questions and Precautions
Model Misreading: The standard model is JANCD-1021, without "FC" prefix, and "FC" is the prefix for the I80 system HIF/axis board series
Second-hand Items Predominant: The original factory has been discontinued, and there are many in the second-hand market. It is necessary to test the integrity of the I/O points
Wiring Specifications: The input common terminal (COM) is connected to DC24V+, and the output common terminal (COM) is connected to DC24V-. To avoid reverse polarity connection
Load Limitation: Output points must not be overloaded. Inductive loads need to be connected in parallel with a rectifier diode
