Description
I. Relationship between ESR01B and ESR01
ESR01B = upgraded / revised model of ESR01 (Rev.B), fully compatible in functions and pins, and can be directly replaced.
ESR01: early version (Rev.A), common suffixes - 21/-23;
ESR01B: later improved version (Rev.B), common suffix - 31. Circuit optimized, stronger anti-interference, better stability.
II. Core functions
Full acquisition of machine tool I/O signals
Connect operation panel, limit / proximity switches, solenoid valves, tool magazine, cooling / lubrication system, 64 digital input / output points.
Main shaft and servo signal conversion
Process main shaft encoder signals, servo enable, alarm, direction / gear position signals, compatible with main shaft frequency conversion / servo drive.
Strong isolation and signal relay
Photoelectric isolation + surge suppression, 24VDC system, suitable for workshop strong interference environment, protecting CNC motherboard.
Auxiliary function control
Manage M code (cooling, clamping, tool magazine rotation), S code (main shaft speed), T code (tool number) signal interaction.

IV. Differences from robot board cards
ESR01B: CNC machine-specific I/O board, manages machine switch quantities, main shaft / auxiliary signals;
ERF01: robot XRC bus communication board, manages the internal M-NET bus of the cabinet, no large I/O;
EIO01/05/06: robot XRC digital I/O board (32 input / 32 output), managed by ERF01.
V. Common faults and replacement
Typical faults: I/O points no response, main shaft signal loss, panel buttons malfunction, alarm "EXTERNAL I/O ERROR";
Replacement suggestion: ESR01B can directly replace ESR01 (-21/-23), no need to rewire, parameter compatibility.
