Core function
Machine tool side signal acquisition and relay
Connects the machine operation panel, limit switches, proximity switches, solenoid valves, etc., for signal buffering / isolation.
Digital I/O expansion
Provides large-capacity switch input/output, suitable for tool magazine, cooling, lubrication, clamping / release and other auxiliary functions of the machine tool.
Spindle / servo-related signal interface
Some versions include spindle encoder, servo enable, alarm signal conversion and processing circuits.
Photoelectric isolation and anti-interference
Strong / weak current isolation, suitable for harsh workshop environments, improving system stability.

Difference from robot XRC board card
ESR01: CNC machine I/O board (2000B/B series), manages machine tool side switch quantities, spindle / auxiliary function signals.
ERF01: Robot XRC bus communication board, manages the M-NET bus inside the cabinet, does not include large I/O.
EIO01/05/06: Robot XRC digital I/O board (32IN/32OUT), managed by ERF01.
