Common Alarms & Troubleshooting

  • Alarm 400/401 (Servo Not Ready): Check 24V supply, FSSB cable, or LM32 fuse.

  • Alarm 410/411 (Servo Error): Verify encoder wiring, 5V supply, or PCB damage.

  • FSSB Communication Fail: Reseat optical connector; clean fiber ends.

  • Overheat Alarm (430/431): Clean drive fans; clear blocked ventilation.

  • No LED: Confirm 5V power and board seating.

Installation & ESD Precautions

  1. Power OFF and wait ≥5 minutes for capacitor discharge.

  2. Use anti‑static wrist strap and ESD‑safe mat.

  3. Align board with slot, insert firmly, secure screws.

  4. Reconnect FSSB, encoder, 24V, and battery connectors.

  5. Power on; check LED status and test servo homing.

Maintenance

  • Clean dust from PCB/connectors quarterly (dry air blower).

  • Inspect FSSB optical connectors for cleanliness/tightness.

  • Check LM32 fuse/components for overheating (discoloration/bulging).

  • Keep enclosure dry and free of oil mist.
