Common Alarms & Troubleshooting

  • Alarm 400/401/402 (Servo Not Ready): Check 24V supply, FSSB cable, or board fuse.

  • Alarm 410/411/412 (Servo Error): Verify encoder wiring, 5V supply, or PCB damage.

  • FSSB Communication Error: Reseat optical connector; check for dirt or bent pins.

  • Overheat Alarm (430/431/432): Clean drive fans; clear blocked ventilation.

  • No LED: Confirm 5V power input and board seating.

Installation & ESD Precautions

  1. Power OFF the drive and wait ≥5 minutes for capacitor discharge.

  2. Use anti‑static wrist strap and ESD‑safe mat.

  3. Align board with drive slot, insert firmly, and secure screws.

  4. Reconnect FSSB optical cable, encoder cables, and power connectors.

  5. Power on; verify LED status and test servo homing/positioning.

Maintenance

  • Clean dust from PCB and connectors quarterly.

  • Inspect FSSB optical connectors for cleanliness and tightness.

  • Check fuses and components for overheating signs (discoloration, bulging).

  • Keep enclosure dry and free of oil mist.
