Common Alarms & Troubleshooting

  • Alarm 40x (Servo Ready Off): Check 24V power, FSSB cable, or board fuse.

  • Alarm 41x (Servo Error): Verify encoder wiring, 5V supply, or board damage.

  • FSSB Communication Error: Reseat optical cable, check FSSB port, or replace board.

  • No Display: Check 5V power supply or LCD connection.

Installation & ESD Precautions

  1. Power OFF the drive and wait ≥5 minutes for capacitor discharge.

  2. Use anti‑static wrist strap and ESD‑safe mat.

  3. Align board with drive slot, insert firmly, and secure screws.

  4. Reconnect FSSB optical cable, encoder cables, power, and battery wires.

  5. Power on; verify LCD status and test servo homing/positioning.

Maintenance

  • Clean dust from PCB and connectors periodically.

  • Check FSSB optical connectors for cleanliness and tightness.

  • Inspect fuses and components for overheating signs.

  • Keep battery contacts clean to avoid voltage drop.
