Description
Specifications
Power Supply: DC 5V ±5%
Signal Output: Differential A/B/Z pulses (anti-interference)
Sensing Principle: Magnetic-electric induction (non-contact, long life)
Operating Temp: 0°C ~ +60°C
Protection: Vibration/oil resistance; fault self-diagnosis (triggers spindle encoder alarms)
Compatibility
CNC Systems: FANUC 0i, 16i, 18i, 21i series
Spindle Motors: FANUC α, αi series AC spindle motors
Mounting: Directly installed at the rear of the spindle motor; compact, no calibration after replacement
Common Alarms & Troubleshooting
Alarm 36x (Spindle Encoder Error): Check 5V power, connector wiring, or sensor board damage.
Spindle Positioning Inaccuracy: Re-seat the sensor or replace it (non-contact, no mechanical wear).
No Speed Feedback: Verify A/B pulse output and connector pin continuity.
Installation & ESD
Power OFF the machine and wait ≥5 min for discharge.
Use an anti-static wrist strap to avoid static damage.
Align the board with the motor’s rear slot, seat firmly, and secure screws.
Reconnect the encoder cable; power on and test spindle positioning/speed.
