A20B-2002-0040/07DR

Model: A20B-2002-0040/07DR Type: Servo amplifier main control PCB (Alpha i series) Role: “Brain” of Alpha i servo amplifiers; processes CNC commands, closes position/speed loops, drives power stages Revision: /07DR — enhanced EMI shielding, signal isolation, and noise immunity Weight: ~1.2 kg

Description

  • Power Supply: 24 V DC (control section)

  • Processor: High-speed RISC (low-jitter motion execution)

  • CNC Interface: FSSB optical fiber (high noise immunity, high bandwidth)

  • Feedback: High-resolution encoder interface (position/speed closed-loop control)

  • Protection: RAM parity check, communication timeout, encoder fault, overcurrent/overvoltage/thermal protection

  • Operating Temperature: -20 °C to +60 °C

  • Humidity: 10%–90% RH (non-condensing)

Application & Compatibility

  • Amplifier Series: FANUC Alpha i (e.g., αi-B, αi-C)

  • CNC Systems: FANUC 0i-C/0i-D/30i/31i/32i (via FSSB)

  • Motors: αi series AC servo motors & spindle motors

  • Replaces: Older revisions (e.g., /04D, /05D, /07D)

Onboard Indicators (Typical)

  • PWR (Green): 24 V DC OK

  • RDY (Green): Amplifier ready

  • ALM (Red): Alarm (overload, overvoltage, etc.)

  • FSSB (Yellow): FSSB communication active

Installation & ESD

  1. Power OFF amplifier & wait ≥5 min for discharge.

  2. Use anti-static wrist strap and ESD mat.

  3. Align PCB with slots, seat firmly, and secure screws.

  4. Reconnect FSSB fiber, encoder, power, and motor cables.

  5. Power ON and check PWR/RDY LEDs; clear alarms if present.

Common Alarms & Troubleshooting

  • Alarm 401 (Servo Not Ready): Check 24 V, PCB seating, FSSB link.

  • Alarm 414 (Encoder Error): Inspect encoder cable, connector, or PCB feedback circuit.

  • Alarm 430 (Overload): Verify motor load, mechanical binding, or amplifier aging.
