Description

General Description

The A06B-6087-H130 is an Alpha series power supply module (PSM‑30) for FANUC CNC systems. It converts three‑phase AC input into a regulated DC bus to supply servo and spindle amplifiers. It is used with high‑power CNC machining centers, lathes, grinders, and industrial robots.

Specifications

Electrical

Input is three‑phase 200–230VAC, 50/60Hz, with a rated input current of 127A at 200V. Output is a DC bus of 283–325VDC with a rated power of 35kW. It incorporates active power factor correction (PFC) with a power factor greater than 0.99 and efficiency over 96%. An external regenerative unit is required to handle regenerative energy.

Mechanical and Environmental

Mounting is vertical inside the control cabinet. Cooling is provided by an internal fan (A90L‑0001‑0422) and an external fan (A90L‑0001‑0335/B). Operating temperature ranges from 0°C to 50°C, and storage temperature ranges from -20°C to 70°C. Dimensions are 150mm (width) × 380mm (height) × 307mm (depth), with a weight of 10.7kg.

Compatibility

It supports FANUC Alpha series servo amplifiers (A06B‑6079 series) and spindle amplifiers. Compatible CNC systems include Series 0, 15, 16, 18, 20, 21, and Power Mate. It works with αi‑B servo motors and α spindle motors.

Key Features

It provides a highly stable DC bus voltage to ensure consistent performance of servo and spindle units. The compact and rugged design saves cabinet space and withstands industrial vibration. Built‑in diagnostics and LED indicators enable real‑time monitoring and quick fault identification. Active PFC reduces harmonic distortion and improves power quality. Multiple protection functions include overcurrent, overvoltage, undervoltage, overtemperature, and fan fault.

Common Alarms

AL‑01 indicates overcurrent in the main power module. AL‑02 means the cooling fan has stopped. AL‑03 signals abnormal overheating of the main circuit heat sink. AL‑04 shows a drop in DC bus voltage. AL‑05 indicates the main capacitor failed to recharge within the specified time. AL‑06 points to abnormal input power. AL‑07 represents DC bus overvoltage.

Installation and Safety Notes

Disconnect all power before installation or maintenance. Ensure the “CHARGING” LED is off before handling the module to avoid electric shock. Provide adequate clearance for ventilation and cooling. Securely fasten mounting screws to prevent vibration‑related issues. Regularly inspect fan operation, terminal tightness, and heat sink cleanliness. If an alarm occurs, stop the equipment immediately and check the load, wiring, and connected amplifiers.

Application Range

This power supply module is designed for high‑power CNC machining centers, heavy‑duty lathes, grinding machines, and multi‑axis industrial robots. It is also suitable for other industrial automation equipment requiring a stable high‑power DC bus.
