Front Adjustments: Potentiometers for gain, offset, and loop calibration
Status LEDs: Power ON, Fault (overcurrent/thermal), and Signal activity
Compact Design: Form-factor interchangeable with other CardPak cards
Reliable Operation: Industrial-grade components for long-term stability
Installation & Adjustment
Installation
De-energize the entire drive system.
Insert 0-49042 into the designated CardPak slot.
Tighten front-panel mounting screws.
Verify edge connectors are fully seated; check control power wiring.
Adjustment (No-Load)
Power on drive with motor disconnected.
Set input signal to 0 VDC; adjust Offset potentiometer for 0 VDC output.
Apply full-scale input (±10 VDC); adjust Gain potentiometer for rated output.
Reconnect motor; calibrate loop response per drive manual.
Test light-load operation for smooth speed and no oscillation.
Operation & Faults
Normal: Power LED ON; output follows input command; stable loop operation.
Overcurrent: Fault LED ON; output clamped (reset after clearing fault).
Thermal Trip: Fault LED ON; module overheated (cool before restart).
Signal Loss: No output; check input wiring and control power.
Compatibility & Maintenance
Compatible Modules: 0-49040-2 (rectifier), 0-49029-2 (protection), 0-49004 (DC amplifier), other CardPak I/O modules.
Maintenance: Keep card clean; inspect socket contacts; avoid high-temperature operation; check potentiometer tightness periodically.
