Installation & Adjustment
Installation
De-energize the entire drive system.
Insert 0-49040-2 into the designated CardPak slot.
Tighten front-panel mounting screws.
Verify bus connectors are fully seated; check AC input and DC output wiring.
Adjustment (No-Load)
Power on drive with motor disconnected.
Adjust front potentiometer to set maximum armature DC voltage.
Reconnect motor; calibrate current limit per drive manual.
Test light-load operation for smooth speed and no tripping.
Operation & Faults
Normal: Converts 3-phase AC to regulated DC; Power LED ON.
Overcurrent: Fault LED ON; output shuts down (reset after clearing fault).
Thermal Trip: Fault LED ON; module overheated (cool before restart).
Stop: Cuts DC output; motor coasts or brakes per drive config.
Compatibility & Maintenance
Compatible Modules: 0-49029-2 (protection), 0-49004 (DC amplifier), other CardPak I/O modules.
Maintenance: Keep module clean; inspect socket contacts; avoid high-temperature operation.
