Description
1. Product Overview
2. Key Hardware Features
Board Type: Protective Termination Expander Board, compatible with Mark V standard cabinet slots, supports Simplex and TMR triple‑modular redundancy architectures.
Interface Configuration: Equipped with 3 × 20‑pin connectors (JKX/JKY/JKZ), 1 × 26‑pin connector, 4 × 10‑pin connectors, 3 bayonet connectors (JWX/JWY/JWZ) for connecting PTBA terminal boards, TCEA/TCCB control boards and accessing CT/PT, flame detection, overspeed, relay contact protection signals.
Signal Processing: Onboard signal transformers, isolation circuits and signal scaling circuits to isolate, scale and level‑match CT/PT signals for TCCB/TCEA board input requirements; provides conditioned 335VDC power to drive UV flame detectors.
Electrical & Environmental: 24VDC power supply; operating temperature -25°C to +60°C, storage temperature -40°C to +85°C; PCB with conformal coating, anti‑EMI, anti‑vibration and corrosion‑resistant for harsh power plant industrial environments.
Protection & Diagnosis: Built‑in overvoltage and overcurrent protection circuits; onboard status LED indicators for real‑time power, signal channel and fault status display, enabling quick on‑site diagnosis.
3. Core Functions
Protection Signal Conditioning: Isolate, filter, scale and level‑convert CT, PT, flame detection, emergency overspeed, relay contact and other protection signals to eliminate interference, match system input impedance and ensure signal accuracy and safe transmission.
Terminal Expansion: Expand protection circuit I/O points of Mark V system, connect more field protection devices (transformers, flame detectors, overspeed sensors, trip relays) to achieve comprehensive unit protection coverage.
Power Supply: Output conditioned 335VDC power to supply UV flame detectors and ensure stable operation of flame detection circuits.
Signal Transmission: Transmit conditioned protection signals to TCEA protection boards and TCCB control boards for overspeed, overvoltage, overcurrent, flameout protection logic calculation and trip interlock control.
Fault Protection & Diagnosis: Real‑time monitoring of channel and power abnormalities, trigger overvoltage/overcurrent protection, latch fault signals and upload alarms to prevent fault escalation and protect main control boards and field equipment.
4. Applications
Power Industry: Protection circuits of gas turbine, steam turbine Mark V control systems in combined‑cycle and thermal power plants;
Industrial Sector: Safety protection systems for heavy‑duty gas turbines and industrial drive equipment in petroleum, chemical, metallurgical industries;
Scenarios: Protection circuit expansion, spare parts replacement, unit overhaul and control system upgrade for Mark V systems.
