Model 6200083 is an industrial inductive proximity sensor. It is widely used for non-contact metal detection, position limit detection, automated machinery, production line positioning and mechanical stroke signal feedback. With reliable performance, strong anti-interference and IP67 dustproof and waterproof capability, it can operate stably in harsh industrial environments.

2. Main Features

  • Model: 6200083

  • Working principle: Inductive type

  • Detectable object: All metal materials

  • Supply voltage: 10–30 V DC

  • Output type: 3-wire DC

  • Max load current: ≤ 200 mA

  • Protection class: IP67 dustproof and waterproof

  • Operating temperature: -25 °C ~ +70 °C

  • Built-in reverse polarity, overvoltage and short-circuit protection

  • Vibration resistant, shockproof and long service life

3. Safety Precautions

  • Disconnect power before installation and wiring.

  • Do not exceed rated voltage 10–30 V DC.

  • Reverse power connection is strictly prohibited to avoid sensor damage.

  • Keep away from high-power motors, transformers and strong magnetic interference.

  • Do not disassemble or modify the sensor structure privately.

  • Avoid mechanical impact, oil corrosion and long-term damp immersion.

4. Installation Method

  1. Fix the sensor with lock nut or mounting bracket.

  2. Keep the specified effective sensing distance from metal target.

  3. Install perpendicular to the detected surface for best detection effect.

  4. Do not place extra metal parts around the sensing head.

  5. Arrange cable routing properly, avoid sharp bending and strong pulling.

5. Wiring Definition

  • Brown  : DC +10~30 V Power

  • Blue   : DC 0 V Ground

  • Black  : Signal output

  • Shield : Ground only at controller side

6. Operating Instructions

  1. Wire strictly according to the standard definition.

  2. Power on, the sensor enters standby state.

  3. When metal enters effective detection range, indicator lights up and output activates.

  4. When metal leaves the detection area, output resets and indicator turns off.

  5. Compatible with PLC, relay and automation controller input terminals.

7. Troubleshooting

  • No indicator light: Check power supply and wiring connection.

  • Always output signal: Metal too close or surrounding metal interference.

  • Unstable flickering signal: Loose wiring, vibration or power fluctuation.

  • Indicator on but no output: Signal wire breakage or load damage.

8. Maintenance

  • Clean dust and iron scraps on the sensing surface regularly.

  • Periodically check mounting tightness and cable abrasion.

  • Keep away from high temperature and corrosive gas environment.

  • Replace the sensor in time if shell crack or cable aging occurs.
