This WARTSILA FCM-20 Rev 06 is a Flex Control Module for Wärtsilä RT-flex series two-stroke marine main engine common rail control system. The flex control module executes fuel injection and exhaust valve actuation logic for RT-flex electronically controlled main diesel engines. The flex control module receives command signals from the main engine controller and drives the engine’s hydraulic proportional valves. The flex control module adopts high-speed field bus communication for real-time engine cylinder control and data feedback. The flex control module is built to withstand heavy vibration, humidity and temperature changes inside marine engine control cabinets.

This module manages cylinder-by-cylinder fuel injection and exhaust valve timing for main engine operation.
