This PILZ PNOZ ms2p TTL is a safety speed monitoring expansion module for PNOZmulti modular safety control systems. The safety speed module supports dual independent axis monitoring for rotational speed, standstill and rotation direction. The safety speed module accepts TTL incremental encoder signals and proximity switch input for flexible signal collection. The safety speed module achieves SIL 3 and PL e safety rating to protect automated machinery from overspeed hazards. The safety speed module adopts galvanic isolation design to avoid signal interference in complex industrial control cabinets.

This unit expands the safety function of the PNOZmulti base controller for machine safety applications. The axis monitoring unit provides LED status indicators for power supply, encoder feedback and fault diagnosis. The axis monitoring unit allows eight adjustable speed threshold values set via PNOZmulti Configurator software. The axis monitoring unit uses RJ45 port for TTL encoder connection and pluggable terminals for sensor wiring.
