Model 6200054 is an industrial inductive proximity sensor. It is used for non-contact metal object detection, position limit detection, mechanical automation, production line positioning and equipment running signal feedback. With stable performance, strong anti-interference capability and IP67 protection level, it is suitable for long-term stable operation in harsh industrial environments.

2. Main Features

  • Model: 6200054

  • Working principle: Inductive magnetic induction

  • Detectable object: All metal materials

  • Supply voltage: 10–30 V DC

  • Output type: 3-wire DC

  • Max load current: ≤ 200 mA

  • Protection class: IP67 dustproof and waterproof

  • Operating temperature: -25 °C ~ +70 °C

  • Built-in reverse polarity, overvoltage and short-circuit protection

  • Shock resistance, vibration resistance and high stability

3. Safety Precautions

  • Disconnect power before installation and wiring.

  • Do not apply voltage beyond 10–30 V DC.

  • Prohibit reverse power connection to avoid permanent damage.

  • Keep away from high-power motors, transformers and strong magnetic interference sources.

  • Do not disassemble or modify the sensor privately.

  • Avoid mechanical impact, oil corrosion and long-term damp immersion.

4. Installation Method

  1. Fix the sensor with locking nut or mounting bracket.

  2. Keep standard effective sensing distance from metal target.

  3. Install perpendicular to the detected surface for optimal detection effect.

  4. Do not place extra metal parts around the sensing head.

  5. Arrange cable routing properly, avoid sharp bending and pulling.

5. Wiring Definition

  • Brown  : DC +10~30 V Power

  • Blue   : DC 0 V GND

  • Black  : Signal output

  • Shield : Ground only at controller side

6. Operating Instructions

  1. Wire strictly according to the standard definition.

  2. Power on, the sensor enters standby state.

  3. When metal enters effective detection range, indicator lights up and output activates.

  4. When metal leaves the detection area, output resets and indicator turns off.

  5. Can be directly connected to PLC, relay and automation controller input terminals.

7. Troubleshooting

  • No indicator light: Check power supply and wiring connection.

  • Constant output signal: Metal too close or surrounding metal interference.

  • Unstable signal flashing: Loose wiring, vibration or power fluctuation.

  • Indicator on but no output: Signal wire breakage or load damage.

8. Maintenance

  • Clean dust and iron scraps on the sensing surface regularly.

  • Periodically check mounting tightness and cable abrasion.

  • Keep away from high temperature and corrosive gas environment.

  • Replace the sensor in time if shell crack or cable aging occurs.
