Model 6200046 is an industrial inductive proximity sensor. It is used for non-contact metal object detection, position limit sensing, mechanical automation, production line and machine equipment signal feedback. With high stability, good anti-interference performance and IP67 protection, it can adapt to various harsh industrial working environments.

2. Main Features

  • Model: 6200046

  • Working principle: Inductive type

  • Detectable object: All metal materials

  • Supply voltage: 10–30 V DC

  • Output type: 3-wire DC

  • Maximum load current: ≤ 200 mA

  • Protection class: IP67 dustproof and waterproof

  • Operating temperature: -25 °C ~ +70 °C

  • Built-in reverse polarity, overvoltage and short circuit protection

  • Shockproof, vibration resistant and long service life

3. Safety Precautions

  • Disconnect power before installation and wiring.

  • Do not exceed rated voltage 10–30 V DC.

  • Strictly prohibit reverse power connection to avoid damage.

  • Keep away from high-power motors, transformers and strong magnetic interference.

  • Do not disassemble or modify the sensor structure privately.

  • Avoid mechanical impact, oil corrosion and long-term water immersion.

4. Installation Instructions

  1. Fix the sensor with lock nut or mounting bracket.

  2. Keep proper detection distance from the metal target.

  3. Install perpendicular to the detected surface for optimal effect.

  4. Do not place extra metal parts around the sensing head.

  5. Arrange cable routing properly, avoid sharp bending and pulling.

5. Wiring Definition

  • Brown  : DC +10~30 V Power

  • Blue   : DC 0 V Ground

  • Black  : Signal output

  • Shield : Ground only at controller end

6. Operating Instructions

  1. Connect wires strictly according to the definition.

  2. Power on, the sensor enters standby state.

  3. When metal enters effective detection range, indicator lights up and output acts.

  4. When metal leaves the detection area, output resets and indicator turns off.

  5. Can be directly connected to PLC, relay and automation controller input terminals.

7. Troubleshooting

  • No indicator light: Check power supply and wiring connection.

  • Always output signal: Metal too close or surrounding metal interference.

  • Signal flickering: Loose wiring, equipment vibration or unstable power supply.

  • Indicator on but no output: Signal wire broken or load damaged.

8. Maintenance

  • Clean dust and metal debris on sensing surface regularly.

  • Periodically check mounting tightness and cable wear condition.

  • Avoid long-term high temperature and corrosive gas environment.

  • Replace the sensor timely if shell damage or cable aging occurs.
