Protection grade: IP54
Encoder: built-in high resolution absolute encoder
Brake configuration: without holding brake
Shaft form: straight shaft with keyway
Approximate weight: 4.0kg
Operating ambient temperature: 0℃ to +40℃
3. Safety Precautions
Cut off the total power supply before installation, wiring and maintenance work. Wait more than 10 minutes for internal capacitance full discharge before touching electrical parts.
The motor shell must be reliably grounded to prevent electric shock hazard and electromagnetic interference.
Do not apply excessive radial load, axial impact and bending force to the motor output shaft.
Keep hands, tools and clothes away from rotating parts during equipment operation.
This motor has no built-in holding brake. If static positioning locking is needed, external mechanical braking device shall be equipped additionally.
4. Installation Instructions
Mechanical Installation
Install the motor on rigid, flat and firm mounting base.
Fix the mounting bolts evenly and lock them with standard torque.
Ensure good coaxiality between motor shaft and load coupling to reduce vibration and bearing loss.
Reserve enough space around the motor to ensure natural ventilation and heat dissipation.
Electrical Wiring
Use shielded cable for power connection, correctly connect U, V, W and grounding terminal.
Use FANUC special matching shielded cable for encoder wiring, and lock the connector tightly.
Separate power cable and encoder cable in wiring layout to avoid signal interference.
5. Operation Instructions
Run the motor within the rated speed and torque range, do not operate under long-term over speed and over load condition.
After power on, perform low-speed jog test to check forward and reverse rotation is smooth without abnormal noise and vibration.
Avoid frequent start and stop under heavy load for a long time.
Real time monitor motor current, temperature and running state through servo driver during formal operation.
6. Maintenance
Check motor appearance, wiring tightness and dust accumulation every month.
Clean motor surface dust with dry soft cloth regularly.
Pay attention to abnormal noise, vibration and overheating during operation.
Inspect encoder signal working stability every six months.
Use 500V megohmmeter to measure winding insulation resistance, which shall not be lower than 1MΩ.
For long-term storage, place in dry environment with temperature minus 20℃ to plus 60℃ and humidity below 60%. Rotate the motor shaft manually every three months to prevent bearing rust and seizure.
7. Troubleshooting
Overcurrent fault may be caused by motor winding short circuit, insulation aging, wrong wiring or excessive mechanical load.
Encoder alarm is mainly caused by loose connector, damaged cable and electromagnetic interference.
Motor overheating results from long time overload operation, poor ventilation and bearing abnormal friction.
Abnormal noise and vibration are caused by bearing wear, coupling misalignment and internal foreign matter.
8. Warranty Terms
The warranty period is 12 months from the date of purchase, which covers inherent quality defects of product material and manufacturing process.
Damage and failure caused by improper installation, wrong operation, unauthorized modification, overload use and man-made collision are not within the warranty scope.
