3. Safety Precautions

Cut off all power supply before installation, wiring and maintenance work. Keep waiting for 10 minutes to ensure internal capacitor discharge completely before touching electrical terminals.
The motor grounding terminal must be connected to reliable earth ground, and the grounding resistance shall not exceed 4 ohms.
Do not apply excessive radial load or axial impact load to the motor output shaft.
Keep hands, tools and clothing away from rotating parts during motor running.
The built-in holding brake is only used for static locking after stopping, it is prohibited to use it for dynamic braking during operation.

4. Installation Instructions

4.1 Mechanical Installation

Install the motor on rigid and flat mounting base.
Fasten M10 mounting bolts with standard tightening torque 45 to 50N·m.
Install coupling with precise alignment, radial deviation less than 0.1mm and angular deviation less than 0.5 degree.
Reserve more than 50mm space around the motor to ensure natural heat dissipation and ventilation.

4.2 Electrical Wiring

Adopt shielded cable of 4 to 6 square millimeters for main power wiring, connect U, V, W and PE terminals correctly.
Use dedicated FANUC shielded cable for encoder connection, lock the connector tightly to avoid loose contact and signal interference.
For brake wiring, input 24VDC power supply with allowable voltage deviation ±10%, strictly distinguish positive and negative polarity of brake terminals.

5. Operation Guidelines

Allowable speed range 0 to 3000 r/min, long-term continuous operation over 2000 r/min is not recommended.
Continuous rated torque range 0 to 18N·m, short-time overload torque up to 114N·m with single overload time no more than 30 seconds.
Perform low-speed jog test at 100 to 500 r/min after power on, confirm forward and reverse rotation is smooth without abnormal noise and vibration.
Monitor motor working current, temperature and vibration status in real time through servo driver during formal operation.

6. Daily Maintenance

Conduct monthly visual inspection to check appearance damage, oil leakage and loose wiring terminals.
Clean motor surface dust with dry soft cloth regularly.
Pay attention to abnormal noise and vibration during running.
Check encoder signal and brake locking and releasing function every six months.
Use 500V megohmmeter to measure insulation resistance, the standard value shall not be lower than 1MΩ.
Check bearing running condition to ensure no stagnation and abnormal friction sound.
For long-term storage, place the motor in dry environment with temperature from -20℃ to +60℃ and humidity below 60%. Rotate the motor shaft manually by 90 degrees every three months to prevent bearing rust and seizure.

7. Fault Troubleshooting

Overcurrent alarm: check motor winding short circuit, insulation aging, grounding fault or excessive mechanical load.
Encoder alarm: inspect encoder cable damage, loose connector plug and electromagnetic interference.
Motor overheating: reduce running load, improve ambient ventilation, inspect bearing wear and mechanical jamming.
Abnormal running noise: check bearing failure, coupling misalignment and foreign matter inside the motor.

8. Warranty Terms

The warranty period is 12 months from the date of purchase. It covers quality defects caused by original material and manufacturing process.
Damage and failure caused by improper installation, unauthorized modification, overload operation, man-made collision and natural disasters are not within the warranty scope.
