Precision rotary tables, heavy indexing axes, and high-load positioning mechanisms
Harsh manufacturing environments with heavy coolant, oil mist, and dust exposure
High-power, high-torque, stable heavy-load motion control applications
7. Installation Guidelines
Mount on a rigid, thick base to avoid resonance and mechanical deformation under heavy load.
Ensure precise coaxial alignment between motor and load shafts to prevent vibration and premature bearing failure.
Use dedicated shielded power/encoder cables; separate power and signal wiring by ≥30 cm to suppress EMI.
Reserve ≥20 cm clearance around the motor housing for natural heat dissipation.
Avoid strong impact/dropping during handling (≥50 kg); use proper lifting equipment.
Ensure key fits tightly in shaft keyway to prevent slipping under high torque.
Do not damage shaft seals or housing edges during installation (preserves IP67).
8. Maintenance Instructions
Regularly inspect for abnormal noise, vibration, or overheating (critical for heavy loads).
Keep the motor surface clean of metal dust, coolant, and oil contamination (IP67 does not mean washable).
Sealed bearings use lifetime lubrication—no regular oiling required under normal conditions.
Periodically check encoder cable aging, damage, and connector tightness (high vibration environment).
Prohibit long-term overload (>30 N·m) or frequent rapid reversing beyond rated parameters.
Regularly verify housing and shaft seal integrity to maintain IP67 protection.
Perform annual insulation resistance tests to ensure winding integrity.
9. Safety Precautions
Cut off all 168V 3-phase power before installation/wiring/maintenance; wait ≥30 minutes for capacitor discharge to prevent electric shock.
Do not touch rotating shafts or moving parts during operation (high torque can cause severe injury).
This model has no holding brake—do not use for vertical/suspended loads without additional mechanical locking.
Do not disassemble the motor/encoder; unauthorized disassembly damages precision parts and voids the warranty (high-precision Alpha series).
Do not use in conductive dust, heavy condensation, or strong corrosive environments without extra protection.
Use proper personal protective equipment (PPE) during handling (heavy weight: 47.6 kg).
10. Troubleshooting
Motor fails to start: Check 3-phase power (168V/200Hz), wiring tightness, servo alarms, and enable signals.
Abnormal noise/vibration: Poor shaft coaxiality, loose key connection, bearing wear, or mechanical jamming (heavy load).
Overheating: Long-term overload (>30 N·m), high ambient temperature (>40°C), or blocked heat dissipation.
Positioning deviation: Encoder cable damage, loose connectors, servo parameter mismatch, or mechanical backlash (heavy transmission).
Unstable speed: Voltage fluctuations, load changes, or encoder signal interference (check shielding).
Dust/coolant ingress: Seal damage; replace damaged parts and improve environmental protection (IP67 critical).
