It acts as a signal conversion and switching interface between the main drive unit and external control circuits, ensuring precise and reliable coordination of system operations.
This module is engineered for DC bus voltage monitoring and braking current indication, featuring a wearless transistor switch for efficient and maintenance-free operation. It monitors the DC bus voltage (UDC) and braking current (IB) in real time: the integrated LED indicator illuminates when the braking current (IB) exceeds 0, providing clear visual status feedback. The transistor switch (terminals 1 [-] and 2 [+]) operates based on DC bus voltage and braking current conditions: it closes when UDC > 50V and IB = 0 (motor standstill or DC bus charged), and opens when UDC > 50V and IB > 0 or UDC < 50V.
