PISC-75A Reliance Electric Interface Module

The PISC-75A is a high-performance interface module designed and manufactured by Reliance Electric, serving as a critical control and monitoring component for industrial drive systems, particularly in motor control and braking applications. It acts as a signal conversion and switching interface between the main drive unit and external control circuits, ensuring precise and reliable coordination of system operations.

The transistor switch (terminals 1 [-] and 2 [+]) operates based on DC bus voltage and braking current conditions: it closes when UDC > 50V and IB = 0 (motor standstill or DC bus charged), and opens when UDC > 50V and IB > 0 or UDC < 50V.
