5. Installation Instructions
5.1 Safety Precautions
Disconnect all power before installation, wiring or maintenance.
Ensure motor and amplifier are properly grounded to prevent electric shock.
Never operate motor beyond rated specifications.
Brake is for static holding only; do not use for dynamic stopping.
5.2 Mechanical Installation
Inspection:Check housing, flange, shaft for damage, deformation or corrosion.
Mounting:Align flange with machine surface. Tighten 4 × M8 bolts evenly to 20–22 Nm for flatness and concentricity.
Shaft Connection:Use tapered hub or coupling for TPR shaft. Ensure full contact and proper torque to avoid slippage.
Shaft Protection:Avoid heavy impact, excessive radial load or axial pressure.
5.3 Electrical Wiring
Cable Selection:Use FANUC‑specified power/encoder/brake cables with adequate current rating and shielding.
