5. Installation Instructions
5.1 Safety Precautions
Disconnect all power before installation, wiring, or maintenance.
Ensure the motor and amplifier are properly grounded to prevent electric shock.

5.2 Mechanical Installation
Inspection: Check motor housing, flange, shaft, and keyway for damage, deformation, or corrosion.
Mounting: Align the motor flange with the machine mounting surface. Tighten the four M6 mounting bolts evenly to 10–12 Nm to ensure flatness and concentricity.
Shaft Connection: Install a suitable coupling (e.g., bellows, rigid, or jaw coupling) onto the shaft. Maintain strict coaxiality (≤0.1 mm runout) to avoid vibration, noise, or premature bearing failure.
Shaft Protection: Do not apply heavy impact, radial loads, or axial pressure to the shaft.
5.3 Electrical Wiring
Cable Selection: Use FANUC-specified power and encoder cables (or equivalent) with sufficient current rating and shielding.
Power Wiring: Connect U, V, W, and PE wires to the motor power connector. Torque terminals to 1.2–1.5 Nm.
