Model Code Explanation

Power off and wait ≥15min for DC bus capacitor full discharge before disassemble casing or hot-plug CN1/CN2 connectors; powered plug/unplug of connectors is forbidden.

6. Replacement & Maintenance Notes

  1. Preferred replacement part: identical CACR-SR15BE12G-Y56; common 12G standard drive cannot direct plug-and-play, must rewrite Y56 dedicated firmware by professional repair supplier;

  2. Periodic maintenance: inspect tightness of power terminals and CN1/CN2 connectors before startup, clean radiator dust every 3~6 months to avoid overheat shutdown;

  3. Factory parameter reset will restore to original locked Y56 OEM preset values, user modified temporary parameters will be cleared after reset.

  • Overheat alarm: blocked radiator dust, poor cabinet ventilation or mechanical overload → clean cooling fins or reduce machine load;

  • Deceleration overvoltage: add external braking resistor between P & BN terminals;

  • Parameter cannot be written normally: caused by Y56 OEM parameter lock, this is normal customized design, unlock requires Yaskawa official firmware modification.
