2. ELECTRICAL SPECIFICATIONS

Main power input is three-phase AC200V~230V, allowable voltage fluctuation range -15%~+10%, compatible with 50Hz and 60Hz industrial power grid. Auxiliary control power needs independent single-phase AC200V~230V separate wiring to avoid interference from main power circuit.
Continuous rated output current is 5.3Arms; 150% overload can run continuously for 60 seconds, 300% instantaneous peak overload is restricted within 3 seconds for motor startup acceleration. DC bus normal working voltage ranges DC280V~DC320V; terminals P and BN are reserved for external regenerative braking resistor wiring under frequent heavy-load rapid deceleration conditions.
The driver adopts IGBT sine-wave PWM modulation, maximum output frequency reaches 300Hz, encoder resolution parameter is preset and locked by Y172 customized program.

3. INSTALLATION & ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENT

Operating ambient temperature: 0℃ ~ +55℃; storage temperature: -20℃ ~ +70℃. Working environment relative humidity keeps 5%~80%RH without dew condensation; enclosure protection grade is IP20, vertical upright installation inside electrical cabinet is required.
Maximum allowable installation altitude is below 1000 meters above sea level, derated operation is needed when installed over 1000 meters height. Anti-vibration specification: 10Hz~55Hz with 0.5mm single amplitude during continuous running; net weight approximately 2.36kg.

4. CONTROL PERFORMANCE AND FUNCTIONS

Speed adjustment ratio reaches 1:5000, full-load steady speed deviation is controlled within ±0.01%. Built-in digital notch filter effectively suppresses mechanical resonance and low-speed crawling during frequent start-stop cycles.
AF hardware only receives analog ±10VDC command signal, position control function can be enabled by parameter but relevant core position parameters are locked under Y172 customized firmware.
Motor auto-tuning function is partially limited: complete full automatic motor parameter identification is locked, only minor auxiliary gain fine-tuning is available for slight on-site mechanical matching; CN2 feedback port is fixed to match factory specified incremental encoder of corresponding 1.0kW servo motor.

5. TERMINAL & INTERFACE DESCRIPTION

R/S/T: three-phase main AC power input terminals; U/V/W: three-phase output terminals connecting servo motor power cable; P/BN: external regenerative brake resistor wiring terminals for regenerative energy consumption during fast deceleration.
CN1: optocoupler isolated digital I/O terminal block with 8 input points and 6 relay output points, all I/O signal logic definition is pre-programmed by Y172 OEM firmware matching original CNC system, most signal assignment cannot be redefined freely via parameter modification.
CN2: dedicated connector for incremental encoder feedback cable; onboard RS422 serial port follows Yaskawa proprietary communication protocol, supports real-time runtime data reading and historical fault code inquiry, locked core parameters cannot be written or revised through serial communication.

6. PROTECTION FEATURES

Built-in standard dynamic braking circuit absorbs regular deceleration regenerative energy; external regenerative resistor must be installed between P and BN terminals under continuous heavy cutting and repeated emergency stop working conditions. High and low speed gain parameter groups are pre-calibrated by factory Y172 program matching original machine dynamic characteristics.
Complete protection includes overcurrent protection, DC bus overvoltage/undervoltage protection, drive overheat protection, encoder disconnection protection and motor overload protection. The servo automatically stores latest 10 groups of historical fault codes for maintenance inspection; Y172 customized preset parameters will not be erased after power-off or fault reset operation.

7. REPLACEMENT & APPLICATION INSTRUCTION

CACR-SR10BC1AF-Y172 is OEM exclusive customized servo driver exclusively matched with designated CNC machine tool and corresponding 1.0kW incremental servo motor. Standard CACR-SR10BC1AF without Y172 suffix cannot be directly substituted, mismatched customized parameters will lead to abnormal speed or positioning fault. Replacement needs identical full part number CACR-SR10BC1AF-Y172 to realize plug-and-run installation.

8. ROUTINE MAINTENANCE GUIDE

Check tightening condition of power cables, motor cable and CN2 encoder connector before every startup to eliminate poor-contact-induced faults. Clean radiator fin dust every 3~6 months to guarantee heat dissipation efficiency and prevent overheat alarm.
Cut off all AC power supply and wait over 15 minutes for internal DC bus capacitor full discharge before disassembling drive housing for maintenance to avoid electric shock hazard. Stop long-time continuous operation once cabinet inner ambient temperature exceeds 55℃. Arbitrary full parameter factory reset is forbidden to prevent loss of Y172 OEM preset data and subsequent machine malfunction.

9. BASIC FAULT TROUBLESHOOTING

Overheat alarm mainly arises from radiator dust clogging, poor cabinet ventilation or long-term overloaded running. Encoder fault alarm mostly caused by loose CN2 plug, damaged feedback cable or unauthorized modification of locked encoder parameters.
Overvoltage alarm occurs during frequent heavy-load rapid deceleration; resolve by installing external regenerative resistor between P and BN terminals. Parameter write failure when modifying Y172 locked core parameters is normal OEM protection design instead of drive hardware damage. Overload alarm triggers when actual mechanical load exceeds motor rated output; inspect stuck transmission mechanism or reduce processing load accordingly.
