4. CONTROL PERFORMANCE AND MAIN FUNCTIONS

6. FULL PROTECTION FUNCTIONS
Built-in standard dynamic braking circuit handles regenerative energy dissipation under regular deceleration; external regenerative resistor must be installed between P and BN terminals for heavy cutting and repeated emergency stop working scenarios. Independent high-speed and low-speed gain groups pre-calibrated by Y17 factory program to match original machine dynamic characteristics.Complete protection functions include overcurrent protection, DC bus overvoltage/undervoltage protection, drive overheat protection, encoder wire breakage protection and motor overload protection. The servo drive automatically stores latest 10 groups of historical fault codes for maintenance check; Y17 OEM preset parameters will not be erased after power-off or fault reset operation.
7. REPLACEMENT AND APPLICATION NOTES
CACR-SR10BB1ES-Y17 is OEM custom servo driver exclusively matched with designated vertical machining center and corresponding 1.0kW M-series 2000PPR servo motor. Standard CACR-SR10BB1ES without Y17 suffix cannot be used for direct replacement; mismatched locked firmware and factory preset parameters will lead to positioning drift, abnormal rotating speed or recurring system alarms. Replacement needs identical full part number CACR-SR10BB1ES-Y17 to realize plug-and-run installation.
8. ROUTINE MAINTENANCE REGULATION
Check fastening condition of power cables, motor cable and CN2 encoder plug before every equipment startup to eliminate poor-contact induced malfunction. Clean radiator fin dust every 3~6 months to guarantee effective heat dissipation and avoid overheat alarm.Cut off all AC power supply and wait over 15 minutes for internal DC bus capacitor full discharge before disassembling drive housing for maintenance to prevent electric shock hazard. Stop long-time continuous operation once inner cabinet temperature exceeds 55℃. Never execute full parameter factory reset randomly; improper reset will erase Y17 OEM preset data and cause machine abnormal failure.
9. BASIC FAULT TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE
Overheat alarm mainly caused by radiator dust blockage, poor cabinet ventilation or long-term overloaded running. Encoder fault alarm mostly generated by loose CN2 connector, damaged feedback cable or illegal modification on fixed 2000PPR encoder parameters under firmware lock.Overvoltage alarm occurs during frequent heavy-load rapid deceleration; solve the problem by mounting external regenerative braking resistor between P and BN terminals. Parameter write failure when modifying Y17 locked core parameters belongs to normal OEM anti-tamper protection instead of drive hardware damage. Overload alarm triggers when actual mechanical load exceeds motor rated output; check blocked transmission structure or reduce processing load accordingly.
