Rated continuous output current:5.3Arms; 150% overload sustainable for 60 seconds, 300% instantaneous peak overload limited within 3 seconds for rapid acceleration. DC bus normal working voltage DC280V~DC320V; terminals P and BN reserved for external regenerative braking resistor connection under frequent heavy deceleration operation.
Adopts IGBT sine-wave PWM modulation, maximum output frequency up to 300Hz. Encoder resolution fixed permanently at 2500PPR by Y8 customized firmware; any unauthorized parameter modification for encoder setup triggers encoder mismatch alarm immediately.

4. CONTROL PERFORMANCE & FEATURES

Speed adjustment ratio reaches 1:5000, full-load steady speed deviation controlled within ±0.01%. Built-in digital notch filter suppresses mechanical resonance and low-speed creeping during frequent start-stop cycles.
S-type dual input allows users to switch command source between analog speed control and pulse position control via adjustable non-locked auxiliary parameters; three core control modes can also be switched within available editable parameter range.
Auto-tuning function partially restricted by Y8 custom program: Complete full-auto motor parameter identification is disabled, only slight gain fine-tuning parameters are available for minor on-site mechanical matching; CN2 feedback port fixed exclusively for 2500PPR incremental encoder of matched S-series 1.0kW servo motor.

5. TERMINAL & INTERFACE INTRODUCTION

R/S/T: Three-phase main AC power input terminals; U/V/W: Three-phase output terminals connecting servo motor power cable; P/BN: External regenerative brake resistor wiring terminals for regenerative energy dissipation during fast deceleration.
CN1: Optocoupler isolated I/O terminal block with 8 digital input channels and 6 relay output channels. All I/O signal logic definition pre-set by Y8 OEM program matching original CNC system, most signal functions cannot be redefined via parameter modification freely.
CN2: Dedicated connector for incremental encoder feedback cable (fixed 2500PPR); onboard RS422 serial port follows Yaskawa proprietary communication protocol, supports real-time data reading and historical fault code query, locked core parameters are prohibited from remote writing via communication cable.

6. FULL PROTECTION FUNCTIONS

Standard built-in dynamic braking circuit handles regular deceleration regenerative energy consumption; external regenerative resistor must be wired between P and BN for continuous heavy cutting and repeated emergency stop working conditions. Independent high/low speed gain groups pre-calibrated by Y8 factory for original machine dynamic performance matching.
Complete protection list includes overcurrent protection, DC bus overvoltage/undervoltage protection, drive overheat protection, encoder disconnection fault protection and motor overload protection. The servo automatically stores latest 10 groups of historical fault codes for maintenance check; Y8 customized preset parameters will not be erased after fault reset or power-off operation.

7. REPLACEMENT & APPLICATION NOTES

CACR-SR10BB1CS-Y8 is OEM exclusive customized servo driver matched with designated OEM CNC lathe and corresponding 1.0kW S-series 2500PPR servo motor. Cannot be directly substituted by standard CACR-SR10BB1CS without Y8 suffix; inconsistent locked firmware and preset machine parameters cause positioning drift, abnormal running speed or recurring system alarms. Replacement must adopt identical full part number CACR-SR10BB1CS-Y8 to realize plug-and-run installation.

8. ROUTINE MAINTENANCE REQUIREMENT

Check fastening status of power cables, motor cable and CN2 encoder connector before every equipment startup to avoid poor contact induced malfunction. Clean radiator fin dust every 3~6 months to ensure effective heat dissipation and prevent overheat alarm.
Cut off all AC power supply and wait over 15 minutes for full discharge of internal DC bus capacitor before disassembling drive housing for maintenance to avoid electric shock risk. Stop long-time continuous operation once inner cabinet temperature exceeds 55℃. Do not execute full parameter factory reset arbitrarily; improper reset erases Y8 OEM preset data and leads to machine abnormal failure.

9. BASIC FAULT TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE

Overheat alarm mainly arises from radiator dust clogging, poor cabinet ventilation or long-term overloaded operation. Encoder fault alarm mostly caused by loose CN2 plug, damaged feedback cable or illegal modification of fixed 2500PPR encoder parameters under firmware lock restriction.
Overvoltage alarm occurs during frequent heavy-load rapid deceleration; fix issue by installing external regenerative resistor between P and BN terminals. Parameter write failure when modifying Y8 locked core parameters belongs to normal OEM protection design instead of drive damage. Overload alarm triggers when actual mechanical load exceeds motor rated output; check stuck transmission mechanism or reduce processing load accordingly.
