Description

1. MODEL CODE EXPLANATION

CACR stands for Yasnac VS800 full digital AC Servopack series for CNC feed axis and automation equipment drive control.
SR supports switchable speed, torque and position control modes via internal parameter setup.
Number 10 means rated matching motor power is 1.0kW, standard continuous rated output current 5.3Arms.
BB is standard universal mainboard and cabinet housing without customized hardware modification.
Digit 1 defines 200V grade AC main and control power input specification.
C represents dedicated feedback setting for 2500PPR incremental encoder (unique C-type encoder specification different from 5000PPR standard B version); S means dual command input design supporting ±10VDC analog speed signal plus differential pulse position signal simultaneously, firmware fully open without parameter write lock restriction. This CS variant is specially matched with Yaskawa S-series 1.0kW servo motor only.

2. ELECTRICAL RATINGS

Main circuit power input is three-phase AC200V~230V, allowable voltage fluctuation -15%~+10%, compatible with 50Hz/60Hz industrial power grid. Auxiliary control power needs independent single-phase AC200V~230V separate wiring to isolate power interference from main circuit.
Continuous rated output current 5.3Arms; 150% overload can run continuously for 60 seconds, 300% peak overload limited within 3 seconds for rapid acceleration operation. DC bus working voltage DC280V~DC320V, terminals P and BN reserved for external regenerative braking resistor connection for frequent heavy-load deceleration condition.
IGBT sine-wave PWM modulation adopted, maximum output frequency up to 300Hz, factory fixed feedback parameter for 2500 pulses per revolution incremental encoder.

3. ENVIRONMENT & INSTALLATION REQUIREMENT

Permitted working ambient temperature: 0℃~+55℃; storage temperature: -20℃~+70℃. Working environment relative humidity 5%~80%RH without dew condensation, enclosure protection grade IP20, mandatory vertical upright installation inside electric cabinet. Max allowable installation altitude below 1000m above sea level, derating operation required for application over 1000m height. Anti-vibration specification: 10Hz~55Hz with 0.5mm single amplitude during running. Net weight approx 2.35kg with standard panel fixed mounting structure.

4. CONTROL PERFORMANCE PARAMETERS

Speed adjustment ratio reaches 1:5000, full-load steady speed fluctuation accuracy controlled within ±0.01%. Complete motor auto-tuning function fully unlocked on CS model; users can execute automatic motor parameter identification after wiring completion to optimize control gain freely without factory lock limit. Built-in digital notch filter suppresses mechanical resonance and low-speed jitter under frequent start-stop running.
Thanks to S dual-input design, users can switch command source between analog ±10VDC speed input and differential pulse position input flexibly by modifying internal parameters; three control modes (position/speed/torque) can also be switched via parameter setting without restriction. CN2 feedback port is exclusively configured for 2500PPR incremental encoder matching S-series dedicated servo motor.

5. TERMINAL AND INTERFACE DEFINITION

R/S/T terminals connect three-phase main AC input power; U/V/W terminals link three-phase power cable of matched S-series servo motor; P and BN terminals are for external regenerative braking resistor wiring to consume regenerative energy during fast deceleration.
CN1 is optically isolated I/O terminal block containing 8 digital input channels and 6 relay output channels with universal standard signal definition, including servo enable, forward/reverse travel limit input, emergency stop input, servo ready output and fault alarm output; partial I/O functions can be reassigned via parameter modification due to open CS firmware design.
CN2 serves exclusive incremental encoder feedback connector for 2500PPR feedback cable connection; onboard RS422 serial communication port follows Yaskawa proprietary protocol for online parameter reading/writing and real-time operating status monitoring.

6. MAIN FUNCTIONS AND FULL PROTECTION LIST

Standard internal dynamic braking circuit equipped for regular deceleration energy dissipation; external regenerative resistor is only required under continuous heavy cutting and frequent emergency stop working scenario. Independent high-speed and low-speed gain parameter groups available to adjust low-speed running stability and high-speed dynamic response separately.
Complete protection functions include overcurrent protection, DC bus overvoltage/undervoltage protection, drive overheat protection, encoder connection fault protection and motor overload protection. The servo automatically stores latest ten groups of historical fault codes for maintenance checking and failure analysis, all alarm codes can be checked via front panel or serial communication freely.

7. APPLICATION AND REPLACEMENT GUIDANCE

CACR-SR10BB1CS is exclusively paired with Yaskawa S-series 1.0kW 2500PPR incremental encoder servo motor, widely used for small CNC lathe, grinding machine and automation feeding axis positioning equipment. It cannot directly interchange with BM/BS/BF versions because of fixed 2500PPR encoder parameter and dedicated S-motor matching firmware; replacement must use identical full part number CACR-SR10BB1CS to avoid encoder mismatch alarm. Before power-on after replacement, confirm motor encoder pulse resolution is set to 2500PPR.

8. DAILY MAINTENANCE SPECIFICATION

Check fastening status of all power cable, motor cable and CN2 encoder connector terminals before every startup to prevent loose connection and short-circuit failure. Clean radiator fin dust every three to six months to guarantee heat dissipation efficiency and avoid overheat alarm. Cut off all AC input power and wait over fifteen minutes for internal DC bus capacitor full discharge before opening drive cover for inspection or maintenance to prevent electric shock hazard. Stop continuous running once cabinet inner ambient temperature exceeds 55℃.

9. BASIC TROUBLESHOOTING INSTRUCTION

Overheat alarm mainly caused by blocked radiator dust, poor cabinet ventilation or long-time continuous overloaded operation. Encoder fault alarm mostly originates from loose CN2 connector, damaged feedback cable or mismatched encoder resolution parameter (CS fixed at 2500PPR, wrong setting triggers error). Overvoltage alarm happens during frequent heavy-load rapid deceleration; solve by installing external regenerative resistor between P and BN terminals. Parameter write failure rarely occurs on CS model for all parameters are fully unlocked without factory write protection. Overload alarm activates when long-term actual load exceeds rated motor capacity, reduce mechanical load or check transmission structure jamming issue.
