Description

1. PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

CACR-SR05BE12G-E is a customized 0.5kW all-digital AC servo amplifier of Yaskawa CACR-SR BE series, suffix E = Export overseas standard version + enhanced anti-interference circuit, 12G fixed special firmware & customized I/O definition exclusively for Hurco CNC machining center feed axis, built-in cooling fan forced air cooling, matching 200V-class USAREM/USASEM incremental/absolute encoder servo motors, supporting position, speed, torque three closed-loop control modes.

Model Code Definition

CACR:AC Servopack servo driver series

SR:Universal three-control digital servo platform

05:Rated power 500W (0.67HP)

BE:DIN rail mounting, ±10V analog + pulse dual command input, built-in cooling fan

12G:Factory preset exclusive Hurco CNC parameter & customized IO pin assignment

E:Overseas export specification, enhanced EMC anti-interference, international safety standard compliance

2. MAIN ELECTRICAL SPECIFICATIONS

Power Input

Main circuit power: Single/Three-phase AC200~230V, voltage tolerance ±10%, 50/60Hz, rated input 5A

Control power: Independent single-phase AC200~230V separate power supply

Rated continuous output current: 3.8Arms; peak instantaneous output:11.0Arms; 150% overload sustainable for 3 seconds

Output: Three-phase AC0~230V IGBT sine-wave PWM drive

Environmental & Cooling

Cooling: Built-in axial fan forced cooling (core difference vs BC natural cooling model)

Operating ambient temperature: 0℃~40℃; storage temperature: -20℃~70℃

Humidity: 20%~90%RH, non-condensing; Protection grade IP20, cabinet internal installation only

Encoder Feedback

CN2 port compatible 17-bit absolute / 8192ppr incremental encoder; 12G-E factory locked encoder parameters for original Hurco servo motor, no arbitrary modification allowed.

3. TERMINAL & CONNECTOR DETAILS

Main Power Terminal Block

R/S/T: Main AC input power terminals

U/V/W: Three-phase output wiring to servo motor stator

P/N: External regenerative braking resistor connection terminals

PE: Protective earth terminal (must reliably connect equipment grounding wire)

Control Connectors

CN1 (Control I/O Connector, 12G-E customized pinout for Hurco CNC)

Includes servo enable input, fault reset, forward/reverse overtravel limit inhibit, ±10V analog speed command, line-driver/open-collector position pulse input, fault relay dry contact output; E-version optimizes input signal filtering circuit to improve anti-interference for overseas power grid fluctuation.

CN2 (Encoder Feedback Connector)

Direct wiring to motor encoder cable for rotor position closed-loop feedback, pin definition consistent with BE standard specification.

4. INSTALLATION REQUIREMENT

Vertical DIN rail installation inside electrical cabinet, reserve ≥5cm upper/lower clearance for fan heat dissipation, keep distance from transformer, contactor, inverter to avoid EMI interference.

Separate high-voltage motor power cable and low-signal encoder cable into different wiring troughs; E-version needs stricter wiring separation per export EMC requirement.

Guarantee cabinet ventilation unobstructed to prevent cooling fan blockage and overheat alarm.

5. FACTORY PRESET PARAMETERS (12G-E LOCKED DEFAULT FOR HURCO CNC)

Pn00: Control mode select, factory preset=0 (Position mode for CNC positioning); 1=Speed mode;2=Torque mode

Pn01: Motor rated current, pre-calibrated matching original Hurco 0.5kW servo motor

Pn10(Position loop P gain), Pn11(Speed loop P gain), Pn12(Speed loop I gain): Pre-optimized for Hurco machine mechanical characteristic, only fine-tune when vibration or positioning deviation occurs

Pn20: Electronic gear ratio, fixed value matching Hurco CNC lead screw parameter

Important: Multiple hidden customized parameters are factory locked for 12G-E, forbidden unauthorized parameter modification.

6. FAULT CODE & TROUBLESHOOTING

Alarm 1 Overcurrent: Motor U/V/W cable short circuit, motor winding damage or internal power module breakdown

Alarm 2 Overvoltage: Input power abnormally high or missing external regenerative resistor under large inertia deceleration

Alarm3 Overheat: Cooling fan blocked, poor cabinet ventilation or long-term overload operation

Alarm4 Encoder Fault: CN2 loose connection, broken encoder wire or encoder hardware damage

Exclusive CNC Communication Alarm (12G-E): Abnormal signal transmission between drive and Hurco CNC host, check CN1 command wiring consistency; E-version has extra noise error detection for poor grid environment.

7. SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

Cut off both main power and control power before opening drive housing for maintenance; wait ≥10 minutes for internal capacitor residual high voltage full discharge to prevent electric shock.

Never hot-plug CN1/CN2 connectors under powered condition to avoid internal circuit burnout.

After fault triggering, completely eliminate failure cause before restarting equipment; CACR-SR05BE12G-E cannot be replaced by non-12G or non-E standard servo for Hurco overseas equipment.
