Description
1. PRODUCT INTRODUCTION
CACR-SR05BC1ES-Y278 is a customized 0.5kW rack-mounted AC servo amplifier of Yaskawa CACR-SR series, specially modified with Y278 factory custom option for Yasnac VS800 CNC system matching. Standard model CACR-SR05BC1ES plus suffix Y278 means internal hardware circuit and default parameter preset for Yasnac CNC bus and analog command interface, mainly matched with USAREM / USASEM 200V-class incremental encoder servo motor, supporting position, speed and torque three control modes for CNC machine feed axis control.
Model code explanation:CACR = AC Servopack driver; SR = universal three-mode control series; 05 = rated power 500W; BC = rack installation, dual input of analog ±10V and pulse command; 1ES = incremental encoder interface specification; Y278 = exclusive customized option for Yasnac VS800 CNC dedicated version.
2. MAIN ELECTRICAL SPECIFICATION
Main power input supports single-phase or three-phase AC200V~230V, voltage fluctuation range ±10%, frequency 50/60Hz; control power supply is single-phase AC200V independent power supply. Rated continuous output current 3.8Arms, peak instantaneous output current 11.0Arms, adopting IGBT sine-wave PWM vector closed-loop control.Feedback matches incremental optical encoder from 1000ppr to 8192ppr, Y278 version fixed default encoder parameter for Yasnac original matching motor. Working ambient temperature 0℃~55℃ inside control cabinet, storage environment temperature -20℃~70℃, natural air cooling, protection grade IP20 only for cabinet inner installation, cannot be used in open environment with dust or water splash.Command receiving: analog ±10V signal for speed/torque instruction, open collector or line driver pulse signal for position instruction; Y278 variant optimizes analog input circuit to adapt Yasnac CNC host output signal level without extra signal conversion board.
3. TERMINAL WIRING DESCRIPTION
Main power terminal block
R, S, S terminals connect main AC input power; U, V, W three terminals connect three-phase power cable of servo motor; P and N terminals are reserved for external regenerative braking resistor wiring to consume motor regenerative energy during deceleration; PE terminal must reliably connect equipment protective earth ground for safety protection.
Control connectors
CN1: universal I/O control connector, including servo enable input, fault reset input, forward/reverse travel limit inhibit, analog command input, pulse position command input, fault relay contact output; Y278 version partial IO pin definition revised to match Yasnac VS800 CNC standard wiring definition.CN2: encoder feedback connector, directly connect motor incremental encoder cable to collect real-time rotor position feedback signal, pin assignment consistent with standard 1ES specification, no change for Y278 option.
4. INSTALLATION REQUIREMENT
Install driver vertically on DIN guide rail inside electrical cabinet, leave enough upper and lower clearance for heat dissipation. Keep installation distance from contactor, transformer and frequency converter to avoid electromagnetic interference. Separate motor power high-voltage cable and encoder signal cable during wiring, different cable types go through different wiring grooves to prevent signal distortion. Y278 customized machine requires consistent wiring with original Yasnac CNC wiring diagram, do not arbitrarily change terminal definition.
5. PARAMETER SETTING GUIDE (Y278 PRESET DEFAULT)
Pn00: control mode selection, factory preset as position mode (0) for Yasnac CNC positioning; set to 1 for independent speed control, set to 2 for independent torque control.Pn01: motor rated current parameter, factory pre-programmed matching corresponding USAREM 05 series motor for Y278 variant, no need to modify normally.Pn10: position loop proportional gain, Pn11: speed loop proportional gain, Pn12: speed loop integral gain; Y278 default gain parameters optimized for Yasnac machine tool mechanical structure, adjust slightly only when vibration or positioning deviation occurs.Pn20: electronic gear ratio parameter, core parameter for CNC pulse scaling calculation, preset value follows Yasnac VS800 original machine parameter setting. All Y278 exclusive hidden parameters are locked by factory setting to ensure compatibility with Yasnac CNC host, forbid random modification of hidden internal parameters.
6. FAULT ALARM & TROUBLESHOOTING
Alarm code 1: overcurrent protection. Check U/V/W motor cable short circuit, motor winding damage or internal power module breakdown.Alarm code 2: main circuit overvoltage. Verify input power supply voltage abnormally high or lack external regenerative resistor for large inertia load deceleration.Alarm code 3: drive overheat. Caused by poor cabinet ventilation, long-term overload operation or blocked cooling gap.Alarm code 4: encoder feedback error. Inspect loose CN2 connector, broken encoder cable or damaged encoder core; Y278 version extra CNC communication error alarm when abnormal connection between driver and Yasnac host, check CN1 related communication IO wiring.Power loss alarm: main circuit input fuse blown or no AC power input, check front end air switch and wiring continuity.
7. SAFETY PRECAUTION
Cut off all main and control power before opening driver shell for maintenance, wait more than 10 minutes for internal capacitor residual high voltage fully discharged to avoid electric shock. Never hot plug CN1 and CN2 connectors under powered status, which may damage internal control circuit and encoder. After fault alarm triggered, cut off equipment operation and eliminate fault cause completely before restarting the system; Y278 customized servo shall not replace with standard non-Y278 driver directly otherwise CNC communication and positioning abnormal.
