Description
1. PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
CACR-SR05BC1ES is Yaskawa R series AC servo drive, rated power 0.5kW, matching 200V grade USAREM and USASEM series servo motors. It supports three control modes including position control, speed control and torque control, commonly equipped on CNC equipment and precision automation positioning devices.Model coding explanation: SR05 stands for 500W rated power; BC means rack mounting structure with analog and pulse dual command input; 1ES denotes incremental encoder feedback configuration.
2. ELECTRICAL SPECIFICATIONS
Main circuit power input accepts single-phase or three-phase AC200V to 230V with voltage tolerance ±10 percent, frequency 50/60Hz; control power supply uses single-phase AC200V. Continuous rated output current is 3.8Arms, peak output current reaches 11.0Arms, adopting IGBT sine wave PWM vector control method. The drive matches incremental encoder with resolution ranging from 1000ppr to 8192ppr. Working ambient temperature ranges from 0 degree Celsius to 55 degree Celsius, storage temperature from minus 20 degree Celsius to 70 degree Celsius. Cooling method is natural air cooling, protection class IP20 for indoor cabinet installation only.Command signal has two input types: plus or minus 10V analog signal for speed and torque instruction, pulse signal via line driver or open collector for position instruction.
3. WIRING DEFINITION
Main power terminals
R, S, T terminals connect AC main power input; U, V, W terminals connect three-phase lead of servo motor; P and N terminals are reserved for external dynamic braking resistor; PE terminal must be reliably connected to equipment protective earth ground.
Control connectors
CN1 is control signal connector, receiving servo enable, fault reset, forward and reverse inhibit, analog command and pulse command input as well as alarm relay output signal. CN2 is feedback connector for encoder wiring to collect motor position feedback signals.
4. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTION
Mount the servo vertically inside control cabinet, reserve enough upper and lower space for heat dissipation. Keep installation distance away from contactors, transformers and other high interference electrical components. Separate motor power cable and encoder signal cable during wiring to avoid electromagnetic interference.
5. BASIC PARAMETER SETUP
Parameter Pn00 selects control mode, setting value 0 for position mode, 1 for speed mode, 2 for torque mode. Pn01 is set according to rated current on motor nameplate to match motor parameter. Pn10 sets position loop gain, Pn11 sets speed loop proportional gain, Pn12 adjusts speed loop integral constant for system stability optimization. Pn20 is electronic gear ratio parameter for position pulse scaling calculation.
6. ALARM AND TROUBLESHOOTING
Alarm code 1 means overcurrent fault, check short circuit on U/V/W output line or damaged motor winding. Alarm code 2 refers to overvoltage, verify input supply voltage or install external regenerative resistor. Alarm code 3 indicates overheating caused by poor cabinet ventilation or long time overload running. Alarm code 4 is encoder failure, inspect loose CN2 wiring or damaged encoder parts. Main power failure alarm comes from missing input voltage or blown internal fuse.
7. SAFETY NOTES
Cut off all power supply and wait no less than ten minutes before opening drive cover for maintenance to avoid residual high voltage inside capacitor. Never plug or unplug CN1 and CN2 connectors when power is switched on. Once alarm occurs, stop running equipment and remove fault causes before restart operation.
