1. Product Overview

CACR-SR05BB1ES is a standard general-purpose 0.5kW analog servo amplifier belonging to Yaskawa legacy CACR-SR SERVOPACK series, designed to work with YASNAC VS-800 analog CNC control system for older Japanese CNC lathes and small automated processing machinery. This model uses BB-version original mainboard hardware with non-locked universal firmware; all internal servo parameters can be freely modified and restored to factory defaults without OEM fixed parameter limitation. 2. Model Code Definition

CACR refers to Yaskawa traditional AC servo amplifier product series. SR indicates analog control configuration with ±10VDC command input specially developed for VS-800 numerical control system. 05 stands for rated output power of 0.5 kilowatt. BB represents exclusive BB revision PCB mainboard circuit layout, which differs structurally from BA, AY and AD motherboard versions. Digit 1 means CN2 feedback interface is developed for 1000P/R incremental rotary encoder only. ES is the motor matching specification code for standard 1000PPR incremental encoder servo motors with fully open adjustable parameters.

3. Electrical Specifications

Main power input is three-phase AC200V~230V with permitted voltage tolerance +10%/-15% and 50/60Hz applicable frequency. Control power adopts independent single-phase AC200V~230V isolated power supply separated from main circuit to avoid power interference. Rated continuous output current is 4.2Arms, while transient peak overload current reaches 11.0Arms within maximum 3-second short-time overload. Internal circuit adopts IGBT sine-wave PWM driving structure, and the unit dissipates heat via natural air convection without built-in cooling fan.
CN1 connector receives ±10VDC analog speed or position command from VS-800 controller, alongside reserved pins for external torque limit analog input, servo enable signal, fault reset input and servo-ready relay contact output. CN2 is dedicated for A/B/Z phase pulse feedback of 1000P/R incremental encoder. Main terminal block includes terminals for three-phase main power input, motor output wiring, external regenerative brake resistor connection and safety grounding terminal.

4. Environmental & Installation Specification

The servo carries IP20 protection grade and must be installed vertically on DIN rail inside sealed electrical cabinet only. Operating ambient temperature ranges from 0℃ to 55℃, storage temperature covers -20℃ to 85℃. Working environment relative humidity should not exceed 80%RH under non-condensing condition, and the installation site needs to avoid corrosive gas, conductive dust and liquid splashing. Maximum allowable installation altitude is 1000 meters above sea level.

Complete protection functions include overcurrent, overvoltage, undervoltage, internal overheat, encoder disconnection and continuous overload protection, and front single digital tube displays corresponding fault codes for quick maintenance troubleshooting.
