CACR-SR05BB1AM-Y114

CACR-SR05BB1AM-Y114 is customized OEM 0.5kW analog SERVOPACK of Yaskawa classic CACR-SR series, exclusively preprogrammed with Y114 fixed parameter solidification for matching YASNAC VS-800 original CNC system for vintage Japanese CNC lathes and small machining centers. Based on standard CACR-SR05BB1AM hardware platform, this variant locks core factory parameters after OEM customization, differing fundamentally from standard non-Y suffix AM version with full parameter modification permission. It is designated to pair with USAGED/USAREM-05 servo motor equipped with 6000P/R incremental A/B/Z phase encoder, which is the core distinction against AF-type drives for 1000P/R encoder motors. All mainboard circuit layout and hardware structure keep identical to standard BB revision unit, only internal control firmware is solidified with dedicated machine preset parameters.

Description

1. Product Introduction

2. Full Model Code Explanation

CACR stands for Yaskawa traditional analog AC servo amplifier series; SR denotes ±10VDC analog command input design specially developed for VS-800 CNC controller three-loop control including speed, position and torque regulation; 05 refers to rated continuous output power 0.5 kilowatt; BB means BB-version exclusive PCB mainboard circuit design independent from BA, AZ or other mainboard revisions; digit 1 stands for single incremental encoder feedback CN2 interface; AM is specification code for 6000PPR high-resolution incremental encoder matching motor; Y114 is factory OEM modification marking, representing fixed parameter write-lock firmware solidified per designated machine tool configuration.

3. Electrical Specification Details

Main power input requires three-phase AC 200V~230V, allowable voltage fluctuation range +10%/-15%, applicable input frequency 50Hz or 60Hz. Control power supply uses independent single-phase AC 200V~230V isolated from main power circuit to avoid power interference. Rated continuous output current is 4.2Arms, transient peak overload current hits 11.0Arms and the overload capacity is valid within maximum 3 seconds duration. Internal power conversion circuit adopts full IGBT sine-wave PWM inversion control topology.
CN1 connector receives ±10VDC analog speed or position instruction signal transmitted from VS-800 numerical control main unit, meanwhile reserved terminal for external analog torque limit input signal. CN2 dedicated feedback port receives A/B/Z phase pulse signal from matched 6000P/R incremental encoder fitted on servo motor. External terminal block arranges wiring terminals for external dynamic brake resistor, servo ready relay contact output, servo enable digital input and fault reset trigger input. Front single seven-segment digital display shows real-time running state and fault alarm codes for field maintenance diagnosis.

4. Installation & Environmental Requirements

This servo drive relies entirely on natural air convection cooling without built-in cooling fan, protection class IP20 and must be mounted inside closed electrical cabinet, open-air exposed installation is strictly prohibited. Normal working ambient temperature scope is 0℃ to 55℃; permissible storage temperature spans from -20℃ to 85℃. Working environment relative humidity should be controlled below 80% without dew condensation; installation location needs to stay away from corrosive gas, conductive dust and liquid splashing pollution. Max permitted installation altitude is 1000 meters above sea level. Overall installation dimension and DIN vertical mounting mode remain consistent with regular CACR-SR05BB1AM standard drive, unit net weight around 1.5kg.

5. Core Y114 Customized Function Feature

The biggest difference from ordinary CACR-SR05BB1AM lies in parameter lock function brought by Y114 modification. After factory preset for specified OEM machine model, core servo gain parameters, 6000PPR encoder resolution setting, electronic gear ratio and mechanical matching parameters are solidified inside internal firmware permanently. When users execute full parameter factory reset operation, drive automatically restores pre-set fixed Y114 OEM parameters instead of universal default factory data of standard AM model. Operators are only allowed to fine-tune partial auxiliary parameters such as acceleration/deceleration time and fault output contact logic; all key motion control parameters remain write-protected and cannot be modified arbitrarily on site. Complete hardware protection configuration keeps same as standard version, including overcurrent, overvoltage, undervoltage, drive overheat, encoder disconnection and continuous overload protection functions, fault code definition is fully consistent with BB series standard servo for unified troubleshooting standard.

6. Application Scope

This customized servo unit is exclusively original replacement spare part for old Japanese CNC lathe, tapping machine and small machining center equipped with VS-800 control system which originally adopts Y114 parameter configuration and 6000P/R encoder 500W servo motor. It cannot be directly substituted with regular non-Y114 CACR-SR05BB1AM or BB1AF servo drive, for parameter mismatch will cause abnormal operation after replacement or parameter reset. Not recommended for general equipment retrofitting due to fixed locked parameter group limitation.

7. Safety Protection Instruction

Before power-on operation, confirm correct wiring of main circuit, control power, motor cable and encoder wiring to prevent wrong connection leading to drive burnout. Do not open drive outer cover under energized condition to avoid electric shock risk. When fault alarm triggers and corresponding code displays on front digital tube, cut off input power first then carry out inspection and troubleshooting after complete power discharge. External regenerative brake resistor must match rated power specification to prevent overheating burnout during frequent deceleration running.
