CACR-SR03SZ1SS-Y41

CACR-SR03SZ1SS-Y41 is a discontinued 0.3kW Yaskawa AC Servopack from classic CACR-SR series. It is OEM customized with factory-locked Y41 parameter firmware exclusively matched with Yasnac VS-800 CNC system for feed-axis driving on special CNC lathes and small machining centers. This servo drive is designed to work with Yaskawa USAF series 300W incremental encoder servo motors. Original production has been terminated, and this unit is only used as replacement spare part for maintenance of aging customized machine tools. The suffix Y41 stands for exclusive fixed parameters pre-programmed and locked at factory for designated machine specifications.

Description

1. Product Overview

2. Model Code Definition

CACR is general series code of Yaskawa AC servo amplifier. SR represents multi-function control platform supporting speed, position and torque control via internal parameter setting. 03 indicates rated output power of 0.3kW. SZ refers to dedicated 200V-class main power board with exclusive internal circuit layout different from SB, BB and BY versions. 1SS means S-type control PCB equipped with SS-standard incremental encoder interface circuit. Y41 is OEM customization code, all core operational parameters are pre-solidified and locked without user modification permission.

3. Electrical Specifications

Main power input: three-phase AC 200V~230V with +10%/-15% tolerance, 50/60Hz; independent single-phase AC 200~230V for control circuit power supply. Rated continuous output current is 3.0Arms and peak transient overload current reaches 8.5Arms to satisfy short-time acceleration and deceleration load. Operating ambient temperature ranges from 0℃ to 55℃; storage temperature ranges from -20℃ to 85℃; working relative humidity ≤80%RH with no condensation allowed. IP20 protection grade limits installation inside control cabinet only; keep away from heavy dust, oil mist and corrosive gas environment. The drive adopts IGBT sine-wave PWM drive technology and receives standard ±10VDC analog command signal from Yasnac CNC controller.

4. Main Control Features

Three optional control modes including speed, position and torque control are available. Key parameters such as servo loop gain and electronic gear ratio are locked under Y41 customized program; arbitrary parameter adjustment will cause abnormal motor operation or axis positioning deviation. Onboard anti-interference circuit guarantees stable incremental encoder signal transmission under complex industrial electromagnetic interference.
Full-range protection functions cover overcurrent, overvoltage, undervoltage, overheat, regenerative circuit failure, encoder signal loss and CPU abnormal protection. Single seven-segment digital display on front panel shows real-time running status and numerical fault codes; terminals P and N are reserved for external regenerative braking resistor connection.

5. Wiring Instruction

R, S, T terminals connect three-phase input power source; U, V, W terminals link power cables of matched USAF servo motor; PE terminal must connect reliable protective ground complying with local electrical safety regulations; P/N terminals are used for external brake resistor wiring.
Control terminal block receives ±10VDC analog instruction from CNC system, digital input signals for servo enable and fault reset, and dry-contact relay output provides external fault alarm feedback. Special round aviation connector follows SS-Y41 customized pin definition for incremental encoder wiring.

6. Installation and Commissioning

Mount the servo vertically inside electrical cabinet and reserve enough top and bottom clearance for heat dissipation, keeping away from heat-generating components like transformers and contactors. Complete full wiring inspection before power-on to avoid short-circuit damage. Pre-locked Y41 factory parameters enable direct replacement without large-scale parameter tuning. Finish no-load jog test to confirm motor rotation direction and running stability before connecting mechanical load.

7. Maintenance & Troubleshooting

Cut off all input power and wait over 10 minutes for internal capacitor residual high voltage discharge before maintenance work to prevent electric shock hazard. Clean cooling vents and retighten loose terminal screws every three months regularly. Once fault alarm occurs, check sequentially input power fluctuation, motor mechanical jamming, loose encoder wiring and insufficient cabinet heat dissipation; never restart equipment repeatedly until all faults are fully eliminated, and random revision of locked Y41 customized parameters is strictly prohibited.
