CACR-SR03SZ1SS-Y2

CACR-SR03SZ1SS-Y2 is a 0.3kW discontinued Yaskawa AC Servopack from classic CACR-SR series, OEM customized with factory-locked Y2 fixed parameters specially for Yasnac VS-800 CNC system feed axis application on old CNC lathes and small machining centers. It is exclusively paired with Yaskawa USAF series 300W incremental encoder servo motors. Original production has been stopped, and this model is only available as replacement spare part for dedicated machine maintenance. Suffix Y2 denotes exclusive OEM parameter preset locked for specific machine tool configuration.

Description

1. Product Overview

2. Model Code Definition

CACR refers to general series code of Yaskawa AC servo amplifier. SR stands for universal control platform supporting speed, position and torque control via internal parameter setup. 03 represents rated output power of 0.3kW. SZ is dedicated 200V-grade main power board with exclusive internal circuit design different from SB, BB, BY specifications. 1SS means S-type control board equipped with SS-standard incremental encoder interface circuit. Y2 is OEM customized marking, all core running parameters are pre-solidified and locked at factory.

3. Electrical Specifications

Main power supply: three-phase AC 200V~230V, voltage tolerance +10%/-15%, 50/60Hz; independent single-phase AC 200~230V for control circuit power input. Rated continuous output current is 3.0Arms and peak transient overload current reaches 8.5Arms for short-time acceleration and deceleration load. Operating ambient temperature ranges from 0℃ to 55℃; storage temperature: -20℃~85℃; working relative humidity ≤80%RH without condensation. IP20 protection grade allows cabinet-only installation; avoid environments with corrosive gas, heavy dust and oil mist. It adopts IGBT sine-wave PWM drive and receives ±10VDC analog command signal from Yasnac CNC controller.

4. Main Control Features

Three optional control modes: speed, position and torque control. Critical parameters including servo gain and electronic gear ratio are locked under Y2 customized firmware; random parameter modification will cause abnormal motor operation or axis positioning error. Built-in anti-interference circuit ensures stable incremental encoder signal transmission under complicated industrial electromagnetic interference.
Full complete protection functions cover overcurrent, overvoltage, undervoltage, overheat, regenerative circuit fault, encoder signal loss and CPU abnormality protection. Single seven-segment LED display on front panel shows real-time operating status and numerical fault codes; P and N terminals are reserved for external regenerative braking resistor connection.

5. Wiring Instruction

R, S, T terminals connect three-phase input power source; U, V, W terminals link matched USAF servo motor power cables; PE terminal must connect reliable protective ground complying with local electrical safety codes; P/N terminals for external brake resistor wiring.
Control terminal block receives ±10VDC analog instruction from CNC system, digital input signals for servo enable and fault reset, and dry-contact relay output provides external fault alarm feedback. Special circular aviation connector follows SS-Y2 customized pin definition for incremental encoder wiring.

6. Installation and Commissioning

Install vertically inside electrical cabinet with sufficient top and bottom clearance reserved for heat dissipation, keep away from heat-generating components such as transformers and contactors. Full wiring inspection is required before power-on to prevent short circuit damage. Pre-set locked Y2 factory parameters enable direct replacement without large-scale parameter tuning. Complete no-load jog test to confirm motor rotation direction and running stability before connecting mechanical load.

7. Maintenance & Troubleshooting

Cut off all input power and wait over 10 minutes for internal capacitor residual high voltage discharge before maintenance to prevent electric shock hazard. Clean cooling vents and tighten terminal screws every three months regularly. When fault alarm triggers, check sequentially power supply fluctuation, motor mechanical jamming, loose encoder wiring and insufficient cabinet heat dissipation; prohibit repeated restart before faults are fully cleared, and arbitrary revision of locked Y2 customized program is forbidden.
