CACR-SR03SZ1SS-Y109
CACR-SR03SZ1SS-Y109 is a 0.3kW original Yaskawa AC Servopack from the discontinued CACR-SR series. It is OEM customized with factory-locked Y109 parameter firmware for Yasnac VS-800 CNC systems and used as feed axis driver for custom CNC lathes and small machining centers. This servo is exclusively matched with Yaskawa USAF series 300W incremental encoder servo motors. Original production has been terminated, and the unit is only supplied as replacement spare part for maintenance of aged dedicated machine tools. The suffix Y109 represents exclusive preset parameters locked at factory for specific machine configuration.
Description
1. Product Overview
2. Model Code Definition
CACR is the general series code of Yaskawa AC servo amplifier. SR stands for multi-function control platform supporting speed, position and torque control via internal parameter setting. 03 indicates rated output power of 0.3kW. SZ is a dedicated 200V-class main power board with unique internal circuit design different from SB, BB and BY versions. 1SS means S-type control board equipped with SS specification incremental encoder interface circuit. Y109 is OEM customization code with all core control parameters pre-programmed and locked by manufacturer.
3. Electrical Specifications
Main power input is three-phase AC 200V~230V with +10%/-15% tolerance at 50Hz or 60Hz, while independent single-phase AC 200~230V is used for control circuit power supply. Rated continuous output current is 3.0Arms and peak transient overload current reaches 8.5Arms for short-time acceleration and deceleration load. Operating ambient temperature ranges from 0℃ to 55℃; storage temperature ranges from -20℃ to 85℃; working humidity shall not exceed 80%RH without condensation. It carries IP20 protection grade and can only be installed inside control cabinet away from corrosive gas, heavy dust and oil mist. IGBT sine-wave PWM drive technology is adopted, and the drive receives standard ±10VDC analog command from Yasnac CNC controller.
4. Main Control Features
Three optional control modes including speed, position and torque control are available. Key parameters such as servo loop gain and electronic gear ratio are solidified and locked by Y109 customized program; unauthorized parameter adjustment will result in abnormal motor running or axis positioning deviation. Anti-interference circuit is arranged on control board to ensure steady incremental encoder signal transmission under complex industrial electromagnetic environment.Full protection functions cover overcurrent, overvoltage, undervoltage, overheat, regenerative circuit failure, encoder signal loss and CPU abnormal protection. Single seven-segment digital display on front panel shows real-time operating status and numeric fault codes; terminals P and N are reserved for external regenerative braking resistor connection.
5. Wiring Instruction
R, S, T terminals connect three-phase input power source; U, V, W terminals connect matched USAF servo motor power cables; PE terminal must connect reliable protective ground complying with local electrical safety regulations; P and N terminals are for external brake resistor wiring.Control terminals receive ±10VDC analog instruction from CNC system, digital input for servo enable and fault reset, and dry-contact relay output provides external fault alarm feedback. Dedicated round aviation connector follows SS-Y109 customized pin definition for incremental encoder wiring.
6. Installation and Commissioning
Mount the servo vertically inside electrical cabinet and reserve enough top and bottom clearance for heat dissipation, keeping away from heat-generating components such as transformers and contactors. Inspect all wiring thoroughly before power-on to prevent short circuit. Pre-locked Y109 factory parameters allow direct replacement without massive parameter setting. Complete no-load jog test to confirm motor rotation direction and running stability before connecting mechanical load.
7. Maintenance & Troubleshooting
Cut off all input power and wait over 10 minutes for internal capacitor residual high voltage discharge before maintenance work to avoid electric shock risk. Clean cooling vents and tighten terminal screws every quarter regularly. Once fault alarm appears, check sequentially input power fluctuation, motor mechanical jamming, loose encoder wiring and poor heat dissipation; never restart repeatedly until all faults are fully eliminated, and arbitrary modification of locked Y109 customized program is strictly forbidden.
