CACR-SR03SZ1SS-Y106

CACR-SR03SZ1SS-Y106 is a 0.3kW original Yaskawa AC Servopack from the discontinued classic CACR-SR series. It is OEM factory-customized with fixed Y106 parameter firmware exclusively for Yasnac VS-800 CNC systems, used for feed-axis driving on customized CNC lathes and small machining centers. It pairs with Yaskawa USAF series 300W incremental encoder servo motors. Mass production has been discontinued, and this unit serves only as replacement spare part for maintenance of specially configured old machine tools. The suffix Y106 means factory-locked dedicated parameters designed for specific machine model.

Description

1. Product Overview

2. Model Code Definition

CACR is the general series code for Yaskawa AC servo amplifier. SR represents universal control platform supporting speed, position and torque control via internal parameter configuration. 03 stands for rated output power of 0.3kW. SZ is a special 200V-grade main power board with exclusive internal circuit layout different from SB, BB and other variants. 1SS refers to S-type control board equipped with SS-spec incremental encoder interface circuit. Y106 is unique OEM customization code, all core operational parameters are pre-solidified and locked at factory.

3. Electrical Specifications

Main power supply is three-phase AC 200V~230V with +10%/-15% tolerance at 50Hz or 60Hz; independent single-phase AC 200~230V feeds the control circuit. Rated continuous output current is 3.0Arms, and peak transient overload current reaches 8.5Arms for short-time acceleration and deceleration. Operating ambient temperature ranges from 0℃ to 55℃; storage temperature ranges from -20℃ to 85℃; working relative humidity ≤80%RH with no condensation. IP20 protection rating limits installation inside electrical cabinet only, away from corrosive gas, heavy dust and oil mist environments. IGBT sine-wave PWM drive technology is applied, and the drive receives ±10VDC analog command signal from Yasnac CNC controller.

4. Main Control Features

Three optional control modes: speed, position and torque control. Critical parameters such as loop gain and electronic gear ratio are locked under Y106 OEM firmware; unauthorized parameter modification will lead to abnormal motor operation or positioning error of machine axes. Anti-interference circuit is integrated on control board to guarantee stable incremental encoder signal transmission under complicated industrial electromagnetic interference.
Complete protection functions include overcurrent, overvoltage, undervoltage, overheat, regenerative circuit breakdown, encoder disconnection and CPU malfunction protection. Single seven-segment digital display on front panel shows real-time running status and numerical fault codes; P and N terminals are reserved for external regenerative braking resistor connection.

5. Wiring Instruction

R, S, T terminals connect three-phase input power source; U, V, W terminals link power cables of matched USAF servo motor; PE terminal must connect reliable protective ground following local electrical safety codes; P/N terminals are available for external brake resistor wiring.
Control terminal block accepts ±10VDC analog instruction from CNC, digital input signals for servo enable and fault reset, plus dry-contact relay output for external fault alarm feedback. Special circular aviation connector complies with SS-Y106 customized pin definition for incremental encoder wiring.

6. Installation and Commissioning

Install the servo vertically inside control cabinet and reserve sufficient upper and bottom clearance for heat dissipation, keeping apart from heat-generating parts like transformers and contactors. Fully inspect all wiring before power-on to avoid short-circuit damage. Pre-locked Y106 factory parameters enable direct replacement without large-scale parameter tuning. Complete no-load jog test to confirm rotation direction and stable operation prior to mechanical load connection.

7. Maintenance & Troubleshooting

Cut off all power supply and wait more than 10 minutes for internal capacitor residual high voltage discharge before any maintenance work to avoid electric shock hazard. Clean cooling vents and retighten terminal screws every three months. When alarm code appears, check sequentially power fluctuation, motor mechanical jamming, loose encoder cable and insufficient cabinet heat dissipation; forbid repeated power-on before faults are fully cleared, and arbitrary revision of locked Y106 customized program is prohibited.
