CACR-SR03SZ1SS-Y10

CACR-SR03SZ1SS-Y10 is a 0.3kW original Yaskawa AC Servopack from discontinued CACR-SR series, OEM customized with Y10 factory fixed parameters exclusively for Yasnac VS-800 CNC system. It is applied for feed axis control of specially configured CNC lathes and small machining centers and matched with Yaskawa USAF series 300W incremental encoder servo motors. Original mass production has been stopped, and this unit is only used as replacement spare part for aged customized machine maintenance. The suffix Y10 represents factory pre-locked OEM parameters tailored for designated machine tools.

Description

1. Product Overview

2. Model Code Definition

CACR is general series code of Yaskawa AC servo amplifier. SR stands for multi-purpose control platform supporting speed, position and torque control via internal parameter setup. 03 means rated output power of 0.3kW. SZ refers to 200V-class dedicated main power board with unique internal circuit design different from SB, BB and other power board versions. 1SS indicates S-type control board equipped with SS-standard incremental encoder interface circuit. Y10 is exclusive OEM customization code, all core parameters are solidified at factory and forbidden to be modified randomly.

3. Electrical Specifications

Main power supply is three-phase AC 200V~230V with +10%/-15% tolerance at 50Hz or 60Hz, and independent single-phase AC 200~230V supplies power for control circuit. Rated continuous output current is 3.0Arms and peak transient overload current reaches 8.5Arms for short-time acceleration and deceleration load. Operating ambient temperature ranges from 0℃ to 55℃, storage temperature is -20℃~85℃, working humidity shall not exceed 80%RH without condensation. With IP20 protection grade, it can only be installed inside control cabinet and must stay away from corrosive gas, heavy dust and oil mist environment. IGBT sine-wave PWM drive technology is adopted, and the drive accepts ±10VDC analog command from Yasnac CNC controller.

4. Main Control Features

Three optional control modes including speed, position and torque control are available. Key parameters such as servo gain and electronic gear ratio are pre-locked by Y10 customized program; arbitrary parameter modification will cause abnormal operation or positioning deviation of machine axis. The control board is designed with anti-interference circuit to ensure stable incremental encoder signal transmission under complex industrial electromagnetic environment.
Full protection functions cover overcurrent, overvoltage, undervoltage, overheat, regenerative circuit failure, encoder signal loss and CPU abnormal protection. Single seven-segment digital display on front panel shows real-time running status and numerical fault codes. Terminals P and N are reserved for external regenerative braking resistor connection.

5. Wiring Instruction

R, S, T terminals connect three-phase input power source; U, V, W terminals connect matched servo motor power cables; PE terminal must connect reliable protective ground complying with local electrical safety regulations; P and N terminals are used for external brake resistor wiring.
Control terminals receive ±10VDC analog instruction from CNC system, with digital input for servo enable and fault reset, and dry-contact relay output provides external fault alarm feedback. A dedicated round aviation connector follows SS plus Y10 customized pin definition for incremental encoder wiring.

6. Installation and Commissioning

Mount the servo vertically inside electrical cabinet and reserve enough top and bottom clearance for heat dissipation, keep away from heat-generating components like transformers and contactors. Inspect all wiring completely before power-on to avoid short circuit. Thanks to factory pre-set locked Y10 parameters, large-scale parameter adjustment is unnecessary during replacement installation. Complete no-load jog test to confirm motor rotation direction and running stability before connecting mechanical load.

7. Maintenance & Troubleshooting

Cut off all input power and wait over 10 minutes for internal capacitor residual high voltage discharge before maintenance to prevent electric shock. Clean cooling vents and tighten terminal screws every quarter regularly. Once fault alarm occurs, check sequentially input power fluctuation, motor mechanical jamming, loose encoder wiring and poor heat dissipation; never restart repeatedly until all faults are fully removed, and random revision of locked Y10 program is prohibited.
