5. Key Features

  1. High voltage 400V class design reduces working current, supports long-distance wiring with low voltage drop and saves cable cost.

  2. Medium inertia rotor balances dynamic response and running stability, suitable for high-speed and light-load working conditions.

  3. Built-in βiA 128K high-resolution encoder realizes high-precision position and speed closed-loop control.

  4. Integrated 24VDC holding brake locks the shaft when power off, effectively preventing load falling for vertical and suspended axes.

  5. IP65 dustproof and splashproof protection adapts to workshop dust, metal chips, oil mist and coolant environment.

  6. Straight shaft with keyway design is convenient for coupling installation and ensures stable torque transmission.

  7. Brushless motor structure with low noise, no carbon brush wear, long service life and maintenance-free under normal use.

  8. Fanless natural cooling reduces failure rate, lowers running noise and improves equipment reliability.

6. Application Scope

  • 400V level CNC machine tools, lathes, milling machines, machining center vertical and inclined feed axes

  • High voltage industrial automation production line high-speed positioning and lifting mechanism

  • Packaging, printing, electronic automation and light industrial machinery

  • Servo system with long-distance wiring requirement and low current loss

  • Vertical installation, suspended load and lifting equipment requiring anti-fall safety brake

7. Installation Guidelines

  1. Mount the motor on a rigid, flat and non-deformable base to avoid resonance and mechanical stress.

  2. Keep precise coaxial alignment between motor shaft and load shaft to reduce vibration, noise and bearing wear.

  3. Use dedicated shielded high-voltage power cable, encoder cable and brake cable; separate power and signal wiring to avoid electromagnetic interference.

  4. Reserve enough space around the motor for natural heat dissipation; do not block the motor housing cooling area.

  5. Avoid heavy impact, dropping and extrusion on motor body, encoder cover and brake part during handling and installation.

  6. Brake wiring rule: 24VDC power on releases the brake; power off engages the brake for static holding only.

8. Maintenance Instructions

  1. Regularly check abnormal noise, vibration and temperature rise during motor operation.

  2. Keep motor surface clean, remove dust, metal chips and oil stains periodically.

  3. Sealed bearings adopt lifetime lubrication, no regular greasing required under normal working conditions.

  4. Inspect encoder cable, brake cable integrity and connector tightness regularly.

  5. Periodically test brake holding performance to ensure safety for vertical load applications.

  6. Prohibit long-term overload operation and frequent start-stop beyond rated range.

9. Safety Precautions

  1. Cut off 380–400V high voltage and 24VDC brake power before installation, wiring and maintenance. Wait at least 15 minutes for capacitor discharge to prevent electric shock.

  2. Do not touch rotating shaft and moving parts when the motor is running.

  3. The built-in brake is only for static position holding, not allowed for dynamic braking during high-speed operation.

  4. Do not disassemble motor, brake and encoder privately; unauthorized disassembly will void warranty and damage precision assembly.

  5. Do not use in environment with conductive dust, heavy condensation and chemical corrosion without special protection.

10. Troubleshooting

  • Motor fails to start: Check 3-phase 400V power supply, wiring, servo amplifier alarm, enable signal and brake release signal.

  • Abnormal noise and vibration: Check mounting rigidity, coupling alignment, bearing aging and mechanical load jamming.

  • Motor overheating: Check overload, over ambient temperature, poor ventilation and brake incomplete release.

  • Positioning deviation: Check encoder cable damage, loose connector, servo parameter mismatch and mechanical backlash.

  • Unstable speed: Check power voltage fluctuation, sudden load change and encoder signal interference.

  • Brake cannot hold or release: Check 24VDC brake power supply, wiring continuity and brake coil condition.
