SGMG-30ASRAF is a medium inertia AC servo motor of Yaskawa Sigma-1 SGMG series. Rated power is 3.0kW for three-phase 200V power input with rated speed at 1500rpm. It is fitted with multi-turn absolute encoder, standard solid shaft without electromagnetic brake, standard flange mounting and natural air cooling, pre-installed with shaft oil seal from factory. It has to be used together with SGDM-30ADA servo driver. As a classic old-type Yaskawa servo motor, it is extensively used on CNC machine tools, automatic production lines, textile machinery, injection molding auxiliary equipment and custom automation machines.

Continuous rated power: 2900W, rated current: 23.8A, continuous rated torque: 18.6N·m, maximum instantaneous overload torque up to 300% of rated value. The battery-backed multi-turn absolute encoder saves origin position data, so homing is unnecessary after power on. Insulation is Class F, with dielectric withstand of AC1500V per minute and insulation resistance over 10MΩ tested by DC500V.
3. Mechanical Features
It supports horizontal and vertical flange installation. Solid output shaft is equipped with oil seal against dust and liquid infiltration. Cooling mode is natural air cooling without extra cooling fan. Protection class is IP67 excluding shaft extension. Ambient working temperature ranges from 0℃ to 40℃, relative humidity 20%~80% without condensation, applicable at altitude below 1000m. Vibration grade V15 suits high-precision positioning equipment.

Matched driver model: SGDM-30ADA. Main applications include CNC modification, injection molding retrofit, printing machinery and various automated processing devices.
