SGMG is Yaskawa Sigma-I medium inertia AC servo motor series. 09 stands for rated power 0.85kW. V means three-phase AC200V input voltage. Digit 2 refers to 15-bit incremental encoder with 8192 pulses per revolution, no absolute position memory and needs homing after power on. RCS means round smooth plain shaft without keyway, equipped with standard shaft oil seal, customized wiring outlet layout, no built-in electromagnetic brake. Matching servo drive is SGDB-10AN.

1.Model breakdown
SGMG is Yaskawa Sigma-I medium inertia AC servo motor series. 09 stands for rated power 0.85kW. V means three-phase AC200V input voltage. 2.Electrical specifications
Rated power is 0.85kW, rated rotation speed 1500rpm and maximum speed reaches 3000rpm. Continuous rated torque is 5.39N·m and peak instantaneous torque is 13.8N·m for short-time heavy overload operation. Rated operating current is 7.1A and peak current is 18.2A. Rotor inertia equals 12.8×10⁻⁴ kg·m² and motor net weight is about 5.5kg. Differential incremental encoder signal output is standard configuration.
3.Mechanical & ambient specification
Plain non-key output shaft with oil seal, brake-free design. Fully enclosed natural cooling structure, protection grade IP67 excluding shaft penetration part. Winding insulation is Class F high temperature resistant, passes AC1500V one-minute withstand voltage test, insulation resistance exceeds 10MΩ under DC500V test condition. Vibration level is V15 within 15μm tolerance. Working ambient temperature ranges from 0℃ to 40℃, relative humidity 20%~80% without condensation, applicable altitude below 1000 meters; power derating is required for higher altitude installation.
4.Product features
Medium inertia rotor ensures stable low-speed running and restrains acceleration and deceleration vibration under unstable load. Non-key smooth shaft is fit for clamping type coupling installation. RCS customized outlet improves wiring convenience and enhances anti-interference for encoder cables under oily and dusty workshop environment. Fanless enclosed structure lowers breakdown rate and prevents cutting fluid and dust from entering inner part.
5.Application & installation tips
Mainly used for old CNC equipment, printing, textile, packaging and automation production line, commonly used as spare replacement for original Σ-I servo system. Complete motor parameter setup on SGDB-10AN driver before trial run. Separate power cable and shielded encoder cable during wiring to avoid signal cross interference. Store spare motors at -20℃~60℃ dry environment away from damp and corrosive gas.
