SGMG-09V2AAS
SGMG stands for Yaskawa Sigma-I medium inertia AC servo motor series. The digit 09 represents rated power of 0.85kW. V indicates the motor is designed for three-phase AC200V power supply. Number 2 means it is equipped with 15-bit incremental encoder without absolute position storage function. AA refers to keyed output shaft fitted with standard shaft oil seal. The last letter S stands for customized outlet structure and non-brake design. The matched servo driver is SGDB-10AN.
Description
1. Model Code Explanation
2. Electrical Performance
This motor has rated output power of 0.85kW and rated rotating speed at 1500rpm, with maximum instantaneous rotating speed reaching 3000rpm. Its continuous rated torque is 5.39N·m and peak transient torque can reach 13.8N·m for strong short-time overload capacity. Rated operating current is 7.1A while peak instantaneous current is 18.2A. The built-in incremental encoder outputs differential pulse signal with 8192 pulses per revolution, which requires origin homing after each power restart. Rotor inertia is 12.8×10⁻⁴ kilogram square meter and net weight is around 5.5 kilograms.
3. Mechanical and Environmental Specification
The motor is manufactured with keyed output shaft and standard oil seal, and no built-in electromagnetic brake is equipped. It adopts totally enclosed natural cooling structure, reaching IP67 protection grade except the shaft extension area. Winding insulation belongs to Class F for high temperature resistance, and the motor can pass AC1500V one-minute withstand voltage test with insulation resistance above 10MΩ under DC500V testing condition. Its vibration level is controlled within 15μm. Normal working temperature ranges from 0℃ to 40℃, and relative working humidity is kept between 20% and 80% without condensation. Working altitude should not exceed 1000 meters, and power derating is necessary when used above this height.
4. Product Features
Medium inertia rotor structure provides sufficient low-speed torque and effectively suppresses vibration during acceleration and deceleration even under unstable load conditions. Incremental encoder brings stable high-precision positioning with cost advantages. Keyed shaft with oil seal enables convenient connection with couplings and reducers and improves oil and dust resistance. Fan-free enclosed design reduces breakdown probability and prevents internal contamination from workshop dust and cutting fluid. The customized S version optimizes cable outlet layout and encoder wiring for complicated on-site installation and improves anti-electromagnetic interference performance.
5. Application and Usage Tips
This servo motor is widely used on traditional CNC equipment, printing machines, textile machinery, packaging automation and electronic component assembly lines, commonly used as replacement spare parts for original old Yaskawa servo systems. Before commissioning, relevant motor model codes, electronic gear ratio and control loop parameters need to be set on matched SGDB-10AN driver. Power cables and shielded encoder cables should be laid separately to avoid signal interference. Unused motors should be stored in dry and ventilated environment with temperature ranging from -20℃ to +60℃ away from corrosive gas and moisture.
