Description

1.Product Brief Introduction

6SP501-032CTNN is a permanent magnet synchronous servo motor from RELIANCE 6SP servo series. The motor adopts fully enclosed cast housing with surface anti-rust coating, compact internal high-density winding design, built-in high-precision position encoder and optional power-off holding brake. It is specially matched with RELIANCE proprietary servo drives for high-precision closed-loop motion control, available for new equipment assembly and industrial after-sales spare replacement.

2.Model Definition Explanation

6SP = RELIANCE permanent magnet synchronous servo motor core series code.
501 = motor frame size and mechanical base specification code.
032 = rated power coding corresponding to 3.2kW rated output power.
CTNN = customized configuration suffix including brake type, shaft structure, encoder specification and mounting standard definition.

3.Technical Specifications

Rated input three-phase AC220V, rated power 3.2kW, rated continuous torque 15.3Nm, rated speed 2000rpm. Insulation class F, protection grade IP65 for motor main body. Operating ambient temperature -10℃~+40℃, storage temperature -30℃~+70℃, relative humidity 5%RH~90%RH without condensation. Equipped with 23-bit absolute encoder, standard built-in power-off brake, efficiency reaches IE4 high-efficiency standard and vibration meets industrial N-grade requirement.

4.Interface and Communication Configuration

Separate wiring terminals are reserved for three-phase main power and brake power connection. Special encoder connector is used to connect matched servo driver for real-time transmission of speed, position and winding temperature feedback signals. No fieldbus communication port is arranged on motor body; position data is uploaded to upper control system via EtherCAT, Modbus or Profinet bus relying on matched servo drive. No extra expandable communication interfaces are reserved.

5.Core Functions

Convert electrical energy into accurate rotary mechanical output under drive control to realize precise positioning, constant speed running and constant torque closed-loop control for automated equipment loads. Built-in temperature sensing element feeds winding temperature back to servo drive for overheat protection triggering. The integrated electromagnetic brake locks motor output shaft when power fails to prevent load dropping and displacement. Real-time position feedback from internal encoder ensures high dynamic response and high positioning accuracy of servo control system.

6.Application Scenarios

Mainly applied in CNC machine feed shafts, automated packaging equipment, textile machinery, new energy battery production lines, automatic cutting and welding machines, as well as multi-joint manipulator transmission parts of auto parts processing production lines.

7.Operation and Maintenance Instructions

Cut off the input power of matched servo drive completely before disassembly or routine maintenance, and wait no less than 15 minutes to release residual electric energy inside drive capacitors. Carry out quarterly maintenance to clear dust and greasy dirt on motor shell, check fastening condition and ageing degree of power cable and encoder cable terminals. In case of abnormal noise, overheating or positioning deviation during operation, check mechanical jamming and wire damage first before replacing the motor. Unauthorized disassembly of stator, rotor and modification of internal windings are strictly forbidden; replace complete original motor after permanent damage is verified by professional detection.
