5. Key Features
Medium-high inertia rotor design provides high rigidity, strong load capacity and stable running performance for heavy-duty equipment.
Equipped with βiA 128K high-resolution incremental encoder to realize high-precision speed and position closed-loop control.
Integrated 24VDC holding brake can lock the shaft reliably when power is cut off, effectively preventing load falling for vertical and suspended axes.
IP65 protection grade, dustproof and splashproof, adaptable to factory metal dust, oil mist and coolant splash environment.
Straight shaft with keyway design is convenient for coupling installation and ensures stable and reliable torque transmission.
Brushless motor structure features low operating noise, no carbon brush wear and long service life, maintenance-free under normal working conditions.
Natural air cooling without external fan, simple mechanical structure, low failure rate and high operational reliability.
6. Application Fields
CNC lathe, milling machine and machining center heavy load feed axes
Industrial automation production line heavy positioning transmission mechanism
Packaging machinery, printing machinery, rubber and plastic industrial equipment
Industrial robot heavy load joint drive unit
Vertical installation axes and suspended load equipment requiring anti-fall safety protection
7. Installation Guidelines
Install the motor on a rigid, flat and non-deformable mounting base to avoid mechanical stress and resonance.
Keep precise coaxial alignment between motor shaft and load shaft to reduce vibration, noise and premature bearing wear.
Use dedicated shielded servo power cable and encoder cable; separate power wiring and signal wiring to reduce electromagnetic interference.
Reserve enough surrounding space for natural heat dissipation; do not cover or block the motor housing heat dissipation area.
Avoid strong impact, dropping and extrusion on motor body, encoder rear cover and brake assembly during handling and installation.
8. Maintenance Instructions
Regularly inspect motor running status including abnormal noise, vibration and temperature rise.
Keep motor surface clean, remove dust, metal chips and oil contamination periodically.
Built-in sealed bearings adopt lifetime lubrication, no regular refueling maintenance required under normal working conditions.
Check encoder cable integrity, connector fastening and aging status at regular intervals.
Periodically test the holding performance of the brake to ensure safety for vertical load applications.
Avoid long-term overload operation and frequent forward and reverse start-stop beyond allowable load range.
9. Safety Precautions
Cut off all power supply before installation, wiring and maintenance. Wait at least 15 minutes for internal capacitor discharge to prevent electric shock hazard.
Do not touch rotating shaft and moving parts during motor running state.
The built-in holding brake is only used for static position locking, not allowed for dynamic braking during high-speed operation.
Do not disassemble motor, brake and encoder privately; unauthorized disassembly will void warranty and damage assembly precision.
Do not use the motor in environment with conductive dust, heavy moisture condensation and chemical corrosion without special protection.
10. Troubleshooting
Motor fails to start: Check three-phase power supply, wiring tightness, servo amplifier alarm code, enable signal and brake release signal.
Abnormal noise and vibration: Check mounting rigidity, coupling alignment, bearing aging and mechanical load jamming.
Motor overheating: Inspect long-term overload, ambient temperature over limit, poor ventilation and brake incomplete release.
Positioning deviation out of tolerance: Check encoder cable breakage, loose connector, servo parameter mismatch and mechanical transmission backlash.
Unstable speed: Verify power supply voltage fluctuation, load sudden change and encoder signal interference.
Brake cannot hold or release normally: Check 24VDC brake power supply, wiring connection and brake coil working condition.
