Description
1.Product Brief Introduction
This original ABB digital input/output interface board is specially developed for UNITROL series generator excitation control system. The PCB surface is covered with three-proof conformal coating to prevent erosion from moisture, dust and corrosive gas inside control cabinet. It adopts standard rack plug-in installation matching cabinet backplane bus, responsible for collection of field switching signals and output of interlock control commands between field auxiliary equipment and main excitation controller. Original batch production is stopped and supplied as aftermarket spare parts only.
2.Model Definition Explanation
3BHE is the unified fixed part prefix of ABB dedicated PCB spare parts for excitation and medium voltage drive control.022333 is exclusive internal hardware development serial number defined by ABB R&D department for this hardware platform.R0101 means the first formal mass-produced hardware revision without subsequent circuit revision.UFD192A01 is the corresponding commercial ordering model of the finished module.
3.Technical Specifications
Rated auxiliary power supply DC24V±10%, typical power consumption ≤3.6W. Operating ambient temperature -25℃~+70℃, storage temperature -40℃~+85℃, relative humidity 5%RH~95%RH without condensation. Optocoupler isolation is arranged between field wiring and internal control circuit with isolation withstand voltage 1000VAC, single channel signal response time less than 1ms. The module is IP20 cabinet installation grade and conforms to IEC61000 EMC anti-interference standard, net weight approximately 0.34kg.
4.Interface and Communication Configuration
Rear gold-finger connector is plugged into rack backplane bus to realize bidirectional data transmission of collected switching status and control instructions with main control board. Front terminal blocks are used for external wiring of circuit breaker auxiliary contacts, protection interlock switches and auxiliary executive components. Multiple onboard LED indicators display power status and each channel running condition for on-site inspection. Only factory exclusive test pads are reserved on PCB for offline calibration, no external user fieldbus communication port is configured.
5.Core Functions
Collect multi-path field digital signals including breaker position feedback, cooling equipment operating status and protection interlock contact signals, conduct optoelectronic isolation and transmit processed digital data to main AVR controller. Receive interlock control commands from master board and output switching driving signals to related auxiliary loop to realize protection trip and auxiliary equipment linkage control. Built-in channel self-diagnosis function automatically detects open-circuit and short-circuit fault of input and output loops, upload fault alarm information to main controller once abnormal condition is confirmed.
6.Application Scenarios
It is installed inside UNITROL1000 and UNITROL6000 excitation cabinets for synchronous generators of thermal power plants, hydropower stations, gas-fired and biomass power plants. It is also matched with excitation control cabinet of large synchronous driving motors applied in cement rotary kiln, mine main ventilation fan and petrochemical high-pressure compressor equipment.
7.Operation and Maintenance Instructions
Cut off overall cabinet power supply before disassembly or routine maintenance, keep power off more than 30 minutes to fully discharge residual capacitance electricity and avoid static damage to precision onboard chips. Conduct quarterly maintenance to wipe dust on PCB surface and gold-finger contacts with dry soft brush and fasten all external wiring terminals regularly. When system prompts channel missing or abnormal interlock alarm, inspect field external wiring preferentially before module replacement. Unauthorized disassembly of original components and arbitrary circuit modification are strictly forbidden; replace complete new module after permanent internal hardware damage is verified via detection.
