Description

1.Product Brief Introduction

This product is a dedicated control trigger board for ABB medium voltage inverter and SVC power control system, manufactured according to IEC industrial standard and ABB internal production specification. It is plug-in rack-mounted circuit board acting as core signal conversion component between main control unit and power thyristor module, responsible for generating drive trigger pulse and feeding back power unit operating state.

2.Model Definition Explanation

3BHB is fixed part number prefix of ABB power electronic control board series.
001337 is exclusive factory serial code of this trigger board.
R0002 stands for the second formal released hardware revision version.

3.Technical Specifications

The board is powered by internal auxiliary DC power supplied from inverter cabinet. Operating ambient temperature ranges from 0℃ to +60℃, storage temperature ranges from -40℃ to +85℃ with non-condensing humidity condition. Protection grade is IP20 for installation inside sealed control cabinet. The whole component passes IEC61000 EMC anti-interference and industrial vibration certification to adapt harsh industrial field environment.

4.Interface and Communication Configuration

Rear golden finger connects with rack backplane to obtain internal power and receive control command via proprietary system bus. Multiple front-side pin terminals connect with thyristor power units for trigger signal output and fault feedback signal input. No independent external Ethernet or standard serial communication port is equipped on the board.

5.Core Functions

It receives phase angle control commands from master control board through backplane bus, converts received digital commands into isolated high-speed trigger pulses to drive corresponding power thyristor modules. Meanwhile it collects overheat, overcurrent and abnormal status signals from power units and feeds back real-time fault information to upper main controller for protection interlock and fault alarm processing.

6.Application Scenarios

It is installed inside cabinet of ABB medium voltage frequency converter and static var compensation device, widely used in metallurgy rolling equipment, thermal power auxiliary fan and pump drive, cement main transmission system and large industrial power grid reactive power compensation projects.

7.Operation and Maintenance Instructions

Cut off all AC and DC power supply of the whole cabinet before plugging in or replacing the board, insert the board into specified rack slot and lock the fixing fastener firmly. Complete peripheral wiring strictly following official terminal definition to prevent wrong wiring damage. Conduct routine maintenance every six months, remove accumulated dust on circuit board and connector with dry soft brush and never use liquid cleaning solvent. Replace the entire board continuously when abnormal trigger output or signal feedback failure persists after excluding peripheral circuit faults, unauthorized disassembly and internal circuit modification are forbidden.
